PITTSBURGH - Dozens of people protested for a second day outside of a downtown pizza shop where a woman was assaulted by an employee.
Channel 11 spoke with people who say they want Pizza Milano shut down for good and the manager involved in the incident charged with attempted murder.
According to police, Mahmut Yilmaz and Jade Martin were involved in a “violent altercation” at Pizza Milano on Fifth Avenue in the Uptown neighborhood.
The incident between Yilmaz, a manager at the restaurant, and Martin was caught on camera, and the video quickly spread via social media.

Organizers at Monday’s protest said they believe Martin was assaulted because of her race.

Absolutely. He could have cracked a tile or two. The video didn’t show what triggered the request to leave.

No excuse for roughing-up a woman like he did.
Demanding that the shop be closed is typical race card overreach in that neighborhood though.
It is tough when a customer refuses to leave. Call the police and wait and don’t initiate violence. If the police don’t respond I don’t know.

Drive anywhere in Detroit or its suburbs and you will find all the gas stations and party stores are owned and operated by either Chaldeans or Lebanese.........
There seems to be a trend, gas stations and party stores are owned by the above and the 7/11's are owned by Pakistani Indians......
My local gas station which I've been buying my gas for the past 16 years is owned by a Chaldean who moved out to my area from Detroit. I know him, his friendly wife and all his sons and I can't tell you how hard the owner works. I'll stop in at 7:00 a.m. or 8:00 p.m. and he's always there..............
They finally moved out to my area due to the safety and BS they always had to put up with from the blacks in the area where their station was located......
