President Donald Trump took time on this Golden Globes day to announce the rescheduling of his inaugural Fake News Awards from tomorrow to Wednesday, January 17.

A more likely – or less fake – explanation for the postponement is that Trump is expected to attend the College Football National Championship game between Alabama and Georgia in Atlanta Monday.
The postponement also gives Stephen Colbert, Trevor Noah, Samantha Bee and other awards hopefuls more time to lobby for the gold. Colbert, who dubbed the awards The Fakies, kicked off the For Your Consideration campaigning with a Times Square billboard asking that his Late Show be included in such categories as “Fakest Dishonesty,” “Smallest Button” and “Least Breitbarty.”

Sick of the reporting on the s-hole remark when he didn’t say it.
I wonder if he is going to do something really wild like play some recordings that he has of some of the most outrageous and fakest stories that refute the line that the media has been taking.... recordings that no one knew he had.
It would not be in his best interests to play any such recordings to the public.
The left never had to rely on the truth - they had the MSM. I’m sick of it too.

And another FReeper noted that Trump tweeted “Should have recorded it. No Trust” and suggested it was Trump hinting he DOES have a recording. That’s when Jake Tapper suddenly “clarified” re Haiti remark (Trump didn’t say it) but the MSM keeps blowing it up and waving it around.
Darn shame if he didn’t say it. It sums up what many of us feel.

Still sick of hearing about it. They had some token black guy on WABC after it was reported and every 5 minutes it was this proves Trump is a racist.
April 1st is known as April Fool’s day.
Trump should be awarded a day called “Fake News Day”, to be held every year, forever.
Awards will go to the biggest lies and spins and omission of news, with the media source(s) as the recipient(s).
And, it doesn’t have to involve just lies regarding Trump. If liberals refuse to attend the awards ceremonies, delivery should be done to their places of business, and to a website dedicated to the day and the awards.
However, the awards ceremonies may have to take several days to read off and to deliver. Perhaps the FAKE NEWS DAY should be at least once a month?

I don’t know what Trump has planned, but it seems like he is doing this for purposes much more serious than just mocking the media. I believe he might reveal some bombshells that day.
