It was a great game. I had no rooting interest in either team, but it was really well-played, and made me respect Saban as a coach even more, though I can’t say I’m a fan.

Clearly Georgia was completely ready for the Jalen Hurts offense, and to put in an untested Freshman in that situation and have faith in him and have him perform at that level was just incredible.

UCF woulda beat em both, of course.

I will say, yes, I wanted GEORGIA to win. And the reality is that Nick Saban had little choice BUT to pull his starting QB since what he was doing was not working. Yet, I think that when viewed through the lens of football history, Saban’s decision to pull Jaylen Hurts will be seen as, as BOLD as General MacArthur’s landing at Inchon!
