Video at link is 39 minutes 28 seconds in length.
Recommend you skip first 13-14 minutes.
At the 13:42 there is a nice overview of Operation Mockingbird. At the 14:39 minute mark there are old television clips of the CIA being asked about what information they insert into television and news programming. Well actually, when asked if they people inserting information into television programming, the CIA rep claims executive privilege (wants to respond later in executive session). At the 16:00 minute mark, we see Sig Mickleson of CBS cagily defending the CIA sourcing of news. Actually everyone interviewed answered cagily. At the 16:38 minute mark, the CIA dodges answering the question of whether they have people paid by the CIA contributing material to the national news services (UPI and AP). At the 17:15 minute mark, the head of CBS says it was entirely appropriate for their news organization to use CIA sourced material. WHen asked if the practice continues "today" (time of old broadcast) he says yes but the reporters now have to be more circumspect about it because he wold otherwise "run the risk of at least being looked at with considerable disfavor by the American public."
At the 18:48 minute mark begins a discussion of the CIA's Operation Gladio (Nato, Cold War era) which the blogger asserts is still in operation today fomenting unrest or "events" in foreign countries. Her description was not very helpful to me, but I liked the video clip at the 23:50 mark. Note, however, that the clip is from RT.com (Russian News org).
At the 28:30 minute mark, in the mid-1990's Gladio shifted to become Gladio B which was modeled on the US's role in funding/arming the Muhjadeen fighting the Soviets in Afghanistan. The "expert" being interviewed asserts that Gladio B is an ongoing cooperation between high ranking officials in the US State Department with Islamic terrorists. This cooperation originally included Zawahiri (World Trade center bombing & 9/11) in talks with US State Department from '97 to around '01. Mentions that it's tied in with drug running from Afghanistan. At the 32:04 mark, "expert" notes that there is a wall of silence around it partly due to the complexity and partly because of the "control" placed on topics covered by the MSM. Asserts that General Petraus is still involved??? She says this is why it takes more than just going in and arresting everyone. I skipped out (stopped watching) at the 34 minute mark.
The problems with most YouTube only posts are theyre not done very well. The information is hyperbole. Readers like to read opinions or exposes, not watch them. Bad voices, harsh camera montages, poor production quality become a burdensome distraction.
Yes - but I liked the collection of news clips she featured and didn’t know where I could lay hands on them quickly so I hung in.
I like Youtube vloggers Anti School, Dustin Nemos and others that organize their work better and stay on topic with few digressions. The video in the OP, I like the old tv clips and some Rt.com commentary in it.
I wanna be a youtube star baby.
