The international coalition against ISIS announced today that it believes there are fewer than 1,000 ISIS jihadists remaining in Syria and Iraq. That represents one-third of the coalition's estimate from just a few weeks ago.
"Due to the commitment of the Coalition and the demonstrated competence of our partners in Iraq and Syria, there are estimated to be less than 1,000 ISIS terrorists in our combined joint area of operations, most of whom are being hunted down in the desert regions in eastern Syria and Western Iraq," the U.S.-led coalition told Reuters.
Of course, it could very well be that many of those disappeared jihadists remain alive and free, having fled towards foreign countries. Such fighters continue to pose a major threat everywhere, including Europe and the United States.
However, the coalition says that everything is being done to minimize this risk: "We can tell you that we are working with our partners to kill or capture all remaining ISIS terrorists, to destroy their network and prevent their resurgence, and also to prevent them from escaping to bordering countries," the coalition said today.
Both Iraq and Syria have declared victory over ISIS in recent weeks. Although those declarations are technically premature -- you haven't truly beaten your enemy until he is completely destroyed -- the 1,000 or fewer remaining "Islamic State in Iraq and Syria" jihadists are running out of time to use that acronym.

ISIS did not publish the identities of its soldiers. Perhaps some Western or Russian intelligence agencies have acquired some data bases. However the necessary policy and political changes that would prevent these barbaric terrorists from finding refuge in the West will not be taken by Western leaders except Trump. Trump finds that his security efforts are being hindered by the Democrats, Obama appointed judges and leftist “progressive” groups. This battle is not over and people should not be complacent. Reactionary barbaric Muslim jihadist who abhor the West will not end with ISIS.
Remember the enormous, well-equipped ISIS convoys with their dam_ flags, and dozens of identical vehicles?
I never want to see another ISIS convoy unless it’s an after-bombing picture.

Our allies? Face it. It was the Russians who told the ISIS supporting Turks and Saudis where to get off and did the heavy work against ISIS. Obama bombed a lot of holes in the desert and the American role in the anti ISIS battle will not be reviewed favorably by objective historians.
Then rhey were our allies.
Are we killing them? Or are we importing them as "refugees"?
Or are we reinventing them as the next anti Assad “ Free Syrian Army” at a questionably legal US military base in Tanf Syria?
What actually happened to all those bearded women in burqas who were allowed to board buses out of Raqqa?

Sometimes I think Obama inadvertently did us a favor. By letting these evil Barbarians gain land and victories in Iraq, he set up a bunch of them to die. They rushed in from all over the world only to be crushed by Trump. Someone should laugh in Zero’s face and thank him for setting up such a nice RAT trap!
