Aging is inevitable. However, if you want to slow down the process, you should consider having no more than two children, a new report suggests.
To do so, they solicited more than 500 people to examine photographs of middle-aged women. The images were categorized into three sections: those with two to three kids, those with four to five and those with seven to nine.
After examining the results, they found that women with fewer children were seen as younger and healthier than those with more children.
In fact, the lowest scores were given to women with seven to nine children.
Why is that?
Mechanisms behind the observed variation in facial appearance are not known but higher levels of oxidative stress among women with high parity may explain their faster aging and lower attractiveness in older age, the authors said in a study.
Childbirth wasnt the only factor considered. Scientists also factored in gestation, lactation and childcare, which they believe also contribute to higher levels of oxidative stress.
These results suggest that costs of reproduction might affect women's physical appearance, they said.

"...having double-digit number of kids is stressful..."
Octomom must look like George Burns.
And the drumbeat just keeps on going...
Stupid supposition and completely unsupported by observation...
So, not having kids because it might change your physical appearance would be a tragic mistake.
I would be interested in life expectancy for women who have had more than two, versus those who had one or two.
Further, I would be interested in comparing those results to those who have had one or more abortions.
This is just another narrative aimed at reducing the population of people who look like me.
The pill, “safe sex,” vasectomies, acceptance of acts that cannot result in pregnancy, delaying marriage for career, porn, restricting the size of families...cultural suicide.
Explain Hillary.
Well, you certainly will never see either one in a bikini................
So, my grandmother who had 13 kids and lived to be 102, would have lived to 200 if she hadn’t?
Anything they can do or say to make people have fewer children. They want to save Gaia.
She has 15 kids.
My great-grandmother bore eleven children, buried three of them, raised my mother from infancy, spent her life as a farm wife, and battled cancer for twenty years before dying at 78. She died before I was born, so my knowledge of her is from my mother and from a photo I have of her late in life. She had a kind and pleasant face, and looked very good considering what she had been through. Of course, she was of a breed of human being quite common in her day, and quite rare today.
I grew up in a very large family.
It is hell on Earth for children.
It is children raising children, void of adults.
I wanted to be adopted out my whole life, but my parents only laughed and ridiculed.
Sorry, but the truth hurts.
There was an old lady
Who lived in a shoe
She had so many kids
Her uterus fell out.....OH!
EXCEPT if they’re Muslim or Mexican:
THEY can have 100 each safely.
Right..?
#Genocide
That is nonsense. Our old church in Rockford Illinois has numerous families with eight and more children (12 is generally the upper limit). These women, in middle-age and late-middle age are generally more youthful and certainly more slender than their low-fecundity counterparts.
I must be 90 by now then with 4 kids.
Every woman should have 3 children. Just find a way to help make it stable without the government. A tall order.
