So this I just found, to answer your accusation, specifically.

She worked here:

That Dobe died saving his family from those snakes.

Are you proud of yourself?

I’ve gone and checked out photos, of the dogs in question and this unfortunate woman. What I’ve come away with is that the dogs don’t look dominant, high prey or aggressive, they’re submissive to her.

She and her family are not Old Virginia landed gentry, either, just aspiring to it. She was very aggressively sexual in attire, mannerisms and those selfies. Appears her dogs weren’t dangerous but she liked her men on the dangerous side. I’d guess Hispanic men from the tat, more of a sympathy thing or identifying with the culture since she clearly wasn’t of it and I strongly doubt her family is even Catholic. That “Lopez” FB post says to me that she’d rejected him.

More to this, the dogs didn’t do it, that would be the upshot from what I can tell. If they’d killed her would they be guarding her remains? Find this “Lopez” if he hasn’t already fled the country. He knows, from the gloating he sounds responsible.

I wasn’t making an accusation.

I was trying to point out potential clues as to what actually happened.

She appears to have been an animal lover, so she probably didn’t mistreat the dogs.

I hope the authorities aggressively investigate the cause of her death, rather than simply writing it off as pit bulls mauling their owner.

All of that is what my gut tells me.

Not sure I can connect to a Hispanic attraction factor.
The guy she was engaged to several months ago was super WASPy.

Her attire is pretty much what I see all over FB, if a woman is halfway pretty.
They really love getting all that approval and “you’re so hot” crap.
[mine, on the other hand, if I do post a photo, is black leather, band shirts and Doc Martens...my fashion style is basically “Well, F you, too”] :D

As a related aside-from, last week, a friend who has a Dobe related to mine had her dog taken away for 10 days observation.

The Dobe was in the yard with her two small children when a group of adult Mexican males came into her yard and proceeded to frighten the children and goad the dog.

Finally, the Dobe had enough and bit one of the Mexicans, not breaking the skin, mind you but enough to start him screaming all manner of profanities.

They insisted the dog be taken away, in spite of him being up to date on his rabies shots *and* the fact that they had trespassed and terrorized the kids.

When the truck came for the dog, a carful of them was waiting across the street from her house and they all cheered and hooted as the dog was taken away from his crying family.

The dog will not come home until the 20th and he is terrified in the shelter, despite the staff being sympathetic and kind.

Meanwhile, she has sought to file charges against them.

She just moved to Texas and she regrets it deeply, now.
The laws there are insane, especially the definition of “trespass”.

However, they bought the house and they’re tapped out and can’t move back home, now, and honestly, I fear for their safety.

I bet the Mexicans are nowhere done with that dog or that family.

Ironically, I was shocked to find that my freak state of Maryland has better laws than she has.

If you trespass in my yard and my dog bites you, it’s just too damn bad.

If you come into the yard and terrorize me, I get to shoot you with no repercussions.

And not coincidentally to all of this, the LEO of my state is expressing much concern over the MS13 that is spreading.

Gotta love that cultural diversity.

Well, they’re not pitbulls for starters. One’s a Great Dane and the other is a brindled mixed breed and I honestly see little indication of pit or any bully breed in it.

I refuse to look at the crime scene photos and it was not described other than grisly with quite a few pieces of evidence. Was she decapitated?

Yeah, sorry.

I’m tired, my hands hurt and I’m bitchy from the pain.

Forgive me for taking it out on you with that unwarranted snark.

I hope they do, too, but it seems Sheriff These Dogs Were Bred For Fighting And This Was Not A Homicide!!! has already figured it all out.

*sigh*

What shame every crime isn’t solved in a few hours like this one was.

They are scared of guard or fighting or coursing and takedown dogs

Maybe they just don't understand why a normal person would want something like that.

Decapitated?

You mean like a certain ‘cultural subset gang’ likes to do, with machetes?

Pretty little blonde-haired white girls from the aspiring horsey set in Virginia horse country marrying WASPy males don’t have Virgin Mary tattoos like that, they actually are associated with Hispanic gangs, MS13 in particular. Maybe she’d had her little wild boy flings, came to her senses, got engaged to what she and her family aspire to be and the resentful bad boy left in the lurch was worse than she knew.

A stray Doberman, a literal answer to an actual prayer, saved me from suffering any more “attention” from a pedophile uncle, when I was 13.

That uncle is still sucking air and walking free, so I’ve had them, ever since.

He made very dark threats, back then and I can not be sure he won’t someday carry them out.

So Dobes and I are still a thing.

They take care of me, and vice versa.

If that’s a possibility, I would *hope* that the morons in charge of FB have kept the deleted Lopez posts and had the good sense to alert someone to their existence.

I’m kicking my own ass for not making a screen cap of them.

They were disturbing and discordant, in the extreme.

True but you mentioned her area is infested by one, in particular.

If she’d been in *northern* VA, then it would be a coin toss.

Turn in a tip to the Goochland County Sheriff’s Office.

All these years later, he still messes with me when he gets a chance.

His daughter married a state cop and he brought him up here to use my dad’s shooting range, which is barely beyond the legal safety zone, from my house.

He just sat there while the cop shot for *hours*.

It was nerve wracking.

It’s not as if a cop has nowhere else to shoot, much closer than a hundred mile trip from his own home.

He was, as usual, “making a point”.

He can’t get his hands on me anymore but he can mess with my mind.

So I have these dogs because I gotta sleep, sometime.

:-\
