Exactly why I picked this particular article to post, as it was the only one that had that quote in it. And it reinforces my belief that Sessions is more interested in protecting the reputation of the DOJ than actually cleaning it up, and could therefore be complicit in hiding evidence of the depths of corruption there, at a minimum.

That will be dealt with after the IG report comes out. That’s the IG’s job - to investigate allegations of wrongdoing by FBI/DOJ employees.

The Obama picked DOJ IG is only investigating the classified emails and his investigation won't go any higher than Comey and McCabe.

The Uranium Deal, the Dossier, the FISA warrant, the Clinton Foundation and all the rest of it are not covered.

It's another Fast and Furious whitewash by the same DOJ IG.

It's a dog and pony poop show.

The only logical explanation for why Sessions has not been replaced is that he’s gathering info for the WH and this meek posture is a necessary evil to keep that information available?

Otherwise, it just looks like a political blunder and Trump doesn’t seem to do those. So I figure there’s a good reason for keeping him in that role, certainly a lot of obvious reasons to replace him with a less compromised figure, perhaps that comes next once the information runs out.

Sessions is meek.

AND submissive. He’s fearful of those he “commands”.

If your interrested in taking the measure of the man take a look at Jeff Sessions BrainyQuotes. Here is one of many that stood out:

“The elite denizens of Washington and Wall Street scorn and mock the good and decent people of this country for wanting their laws enforced and their communities protected”.

You have no facts to support your suppositions based only on what you know. The reality is that like any of us, you don’t know what you don’t know.

I won’t pretend that I do know and he has never given us any reason to question his motives and methods before.

I was a huge fan of Sessions, and delighted when his appointment to AG was announced. But he has been a disgrace in his responses to the President and to Congress in light of the obvious corruption going on in his own department.

The President’s lawyer is on Hannity right now blasting him, and I’m sure Trump approved it beforehand. An incredible fall from grace for Sessions, but he seems quite content with it.

He's the recused...

It's not a fact that he recused himself?

Go and look at the transcript. He recused himself under oath.

In the back of my little mind, I’m hoping and praying that Sessions is playing a role in a DJT theater production. The Final Act will be a 20-person perp walk on or about December 22. And PDJT will tweet: “Merry Christmas”!

Trump has been warned by Republican Congressmen they may support Democratic plans to impeach him if he fires Sessions.

What’s changed that you know of?

A few things that feel different to me are that the stakes are much higher and the players are more deadly, on the bad guys side.

Was he prepared for that? I don’t know.

I hope he’s still that coiled rattlesnake waiting to strike, the way I remember him.

My impression upon meeting him the first time was that he had such a presence of power. It was if the air vibrated around him.

If Sessions has disgraced himself the only way out for Trump is if Sessions resigns.

He’s not going to resign. He’s stated this is his dream job, and shows no shame or remorse for putting Trump and the country through this horrible mess, when we should be focused on making America great again.

Now we’ve even lost his Senate seat, possibly because Sessions refused to support the Republican and even stated he voted for someone else! His mere voice and face is disgusting to many right now, as he appears to be doing nothing to rectify his horrible mistakes, the damage of which is incalculable.

If Nunes can get the Contempt of Congress charge against the DOJ through next week, Trump will hopefully have the protection he needs to fire Sessions, Rosenstein and Mueller, and start over from scratch.

Wouldn’t it be nice if Sessions would raise his back against corruption in his own department the way he does against Trump?

“I don’t share the view that the FBI is not functioning at a high level all over the country,” Sessions said.

Hopefully, President Trump doesn’t share the view that you should be AG anymore Jeff.

C'mon, Trump. Fire Sessions and let's see if these "Republican Congressmen" have the stones to ignite CWII.
