Not that I know of. Google likes to pay tribute to obscure figures and events. They ignored Ronald Reagan’s 100th birthday but I’ve seen Google acknowledge the birthdays of people most normal people have never heard of.

I remember when Google celebrated Frida Kahlo’s birthday with a doodle and link. She is my least favorite artist and the one known for sporting a female mustache. Such a sensitive artist would never condescend to remove unwanted hair so she proudly wore it. She of course was brave to wear a mustache so how could we compare her bravery to a bunch of sailors in the Navy?

To Hell with Frida Kahlo and to Hell with Google.
