F’n great!!!!! Every time they force an update, they wipe out all of the settings for my ultrawide monitor. I’m just about done with Mac.

Apple never "forces" an OS update. Are you running as an Administrator? You have to accept it and install it.

Simple solution is that before you accept the OS System Update and install it, find the Apple plist for your monitors in your System Library and copy it, noting where it is located in your System Library. After updating, put it back. Problem solved.

I don’t have Sir Fishalot’s problems but thank you for providing a helpful step he can take. It saves so much time to be able to get our questions answered by you here.
