Double sonic booms heard over secretive military base Area 51 has sparked claims the CIA is hiding alien technology at the top secret site.
Footage has surfaced of two loud thumping sounds as a pair of F-22 fighter jets fly over the secretive base.
Conspiracy theorists claim the sonic booms show the CIA is secretly testing alien technology or hypersonic aircraft.
A clip posted to YouTube by UFO Seekers, taken in the Nevada desert near where Area 51 is based, shows the F-22 craft cut across the sky at speeds of up to 1,500 mph (2,400 kph).

F-22’s and a double sonic boom? What is the mystery? Now if they were going Mach 3 then there is a story, but not necessarily one about alien tech.
Sonic booms? Over a military base? When two fighter jets fly by?
It’s just GOT to be the aliens....../sarcasm.
Area 51 is a military base? Shhhhh! Or you'll get us all killed.
Double booms will get you double secret probation. And nobody wants probation - especially the anal kind by aliens.

Just something I remember from a few years ago. The only thing that I ever knew to make a double sonic boom... Was the Space Shuttle when it was re-entering the atmosphere.
I remember from watching enough NASA TV that the shuttle always made a double sonic boom when it came in over Cape Canaveral.
Just a thought.
Those are just booms from the craft returning from military missions to the moon and Mars. No biggie.
If this not prove aliens are real I don’t know what will!

This is no worse than believing thst legalized pot will improve sciety.
God I miss those sonic booms, it was a regular occurrence in the 60’s and early 70’s in the northern San Fernando Valley, many times lots of windows everywhere shattered.
Growing up in the 50’s & 60’s, then enlisting in the USAF I can’t imagine getting excited about sonic booms.
Just because congressional pressure caused DOD to change practice doesn’t mean it should be alarming.
