Netflix has reached an agreement to resume production on “House of Cards” season 6 — the show’s final season — in early 2018, according to chief content officer Ted Sarandos.
Production of “House of Cards” season 6 was suspended in October, following sexual assault allegations against star Kevin Spacey.
Season six of the political thriller will be eight episodes, starring Robin Wright. The final season will not include Spacey, as previously announced.

Frank Underwood had just been replaced as President by Claire Underwood anyway.

A ridiculous show that has carried on beyond reason. The much shorter original British version was much better.

In the British version Elizabeth Urquhart has Francis assassinated. Maybe they’ll do the same to Spacey’s character?
I was hoping that in the American version, FU and Mrs. FU would both get their comeuppance.
Jumped the shark when wifey became VP.
Jumped the whale when wifey became Prez.
The whole theme became too outlandish.
Why? Spacey is the perfect example of a real life DemoRat amoral, criminal, pervert politician.
House of Cards just won't have that "Documentary" feel anymore.
Fugitive Roman Polanski raped a 13-year old girl and Hollywood gave him an Oscar.
I don’t watch the show, but it seems the only way they can deal with it is to kill him off.
I still haven’t gotten around to season 5, 4 was just so damn mediocre. 1 and 2 are great, 3’s OK, 4 just underwhelmed in all phases.
I know but I wanted them to wrap up with season six and I want them both to be dead, dead, dead!
