Maybe one of you brilliant Apple Freepers can help me.

I just got an IPhone 6s and I’ve noticed that most of the songs in my ITunes play a little slower.

Anything I can do to fix that? Also, it didn’t seem that way before the update.

Dance slower? ;^)

Seriously, . . Each track has a time signature showing how long it should take to play. Time it. If what your subjective impression tells you is actually occurring then call 1-800-MY-APPLE and talk to an Apple tech about what may be slowing things down. There should be nothing on your iPhone 6s that would affect the playback speed of an audio file. The device itself is far faster in processing than any audio file. Something sounds fishy here. Check it out.

Why in the world would anyone want to use their phone for any financial transaction considering...

1. Phones are small easily lost or stolen
2. You’re in a public network/environment just ripe for hacking

ApplePay is secure. IPhones use TouchID or FaceID for ApplePay transactions. They are both secure from hacking. If the device is stolen it cannot be used by anyone except the user and can be remotely locked so easily that it cannot even be sold for anything except parts. This is not the case for Android phones.

The data that is transmitted over any public network or environment is completely encrypted and is using a one-time use transaction code. That code can only be used for the specific transfer transaction being authorized at that moment, and can never, ever be used again. So intercepting that single-use code reveals nothing about the card being used, the bank account associated with it, nor does it even reveal what or who is doing the transaction. Such single use, one time transaction codes provide no useful information to any hacker for future use and can provide no current data to extract value. They are safe. Only the originating device and the target computer know what is being transacted. Even if being used to make a transaction through a store, the store gets no consumer information when ApplePay is used.

You're welcome, Bodleian Girl. Since you just got the 6S, the help from Apple should be free.

Installed today.

It did not fix my issue: syncing photos from desktop to phone. This functionality worked for many years, until IOS 11.x.

Works fine here among my MacBook and my iPad and iPhone X. . . all directions between all three. What kind of desktop are you referring to? How about from the iPhone to desktop?

Meaning Google and Microsoft have a tougher time playing catch up, than Apple. In reply to posters comment.

Makes perfect sense -)

TIA.

You must be living on another planet.

Google and its Android OEMs, are a few years ahead of Apple in hardware features. And, Google and Microsoft are light-years ahead of Apple in a lot of other sectors in the IT industry. For example, Google Assistant and Cortana/Bing, are years ahead of Apple's siri. And, Google and Microsoft have search engines which are many times more advanced than anything that Apple uses. And, Google and Microsoft have major and powerful cloud services, while Apple is mostly just a "user" of the clouds created by others, such as Amazon and Microsoft.

BTW, MS does not make its own smartphones anymore, but when it comes to its still existing Windows Mobile OS, it's still better than iOS, and MS's Windows is still leading everyone when it comes to features and power and number of users.

While Apple is busy catching up, MS and Google and most other hardware and software makers are busy creating the stuff that Apple will copy a few years later.

Very annoying.

Old age getting to you?

When somebody says "you must be living on another planet", it's meant to say that "you're not from this planet", meaning not from this planet Earth. Get it???

Geez! Old age means that people have to interpret things for you as if you've regressed to being 6 years old.

Perhaps I'll have to explain things with drawings and crayons for you, if you continue regressing to being so awful at understanding things.
