Look at how lavishly the junior senator from California pays off her bets. Look at those teeny tiny wine bottles she must have got off an airplane and the little box of candy Senator Cruz is opening. I think if Ted Cruz was the one to pay off the bet, he would have supplied full bottles of Texas wine and a box of Texas-made candy because he was *proud* of his state's products.
Just found this photo amusing. As usual, Democrats enjoy spending *your* money lavishly but when it is their own, they are cheap, cheap, cheap.

This is a sweet story. Thanks. Reminds me of the friendship Ruth Bader Ginsburg had with the late Justice Antonin Scalia. They both shared a mutual love of opera among other things.
