That’s another big red flag there, Harry, leaving her supposedly beloved elderly dog behind. Obviously we’re not talking the most empathetic, caring individual here. The purpose of your spouse is, contrary to your apparent belief, not titillation and eye candy. It’s to improve the royal line, provide a suitable spouse for required functions and to provide heirs. You’re marrying a concubine. That’s not how it works. Not for you at least. Abort this mission, it will end in embarrassment.

I live in NYC. I’m continually amazed at the age of pregnant women I see. Women in NYC don’t even think about settling down until about 30 years old.

Poor baby.

What a sacrifice.

And I’m supposed to feel sorry for her?

Not.

[These people have access to all the money and help in the world, and they can’t find a way to move an old dog to England?]

Put the dog on a boat.

Yes, the culture of the Royal Family that still expects their women to look the other way if royal hubby is cheating and grin and bear it if royal hubby gets neglectful and pursues his own interests most of the time.

Harry had best watch himself. Meghan doesn’t seem the type to hang in there with him if she gets unhappy.

I say the wedding never happens

Once planning gets in gear, it must be awfully difficult to back out. It sounds as if she has had to give up her whole life now that the engagement is announced.

I'm wondering if she's a candidate to be as sad as Diana was.

Harvey Weinstein's been banned from entering Dear Old Blighty?

There’s no way any of Harry’s kids would ever make it to the throne.

Be grateful we can set our politics aside to appreciate the Royal Family. They do not have political power, but keep alive worthwhile historic traditions and rituals and take up causes that are meant to be universally beneficial — not too polarizing.

I am actually upset that a rising conservative (Tory) star, whose career I’ve been following — this young and attractive pro-Brexit Parliament member of Indian descent- Priti Patel has resigned following allegations some secret trips to Israel? Hopefully she makes a comeback. She would make a much better Prime Minister than Teresa May.

Charles was/is such a dud. Diane was such a mismatch.

Well, William is most like her and he’s growing into pretty much a stick in the mud himself. Harry’s the one with some wit and spunk, he should ascend not William. But, there are persistent strong rumors that he’s not the son of Charles. He does lack the dull goofiness that William seems to have unfortunately inherited. At least the overbite and goofy ears appear to have been bred out so it wasn’t a total bust as far as posterity is concerned.

Thank you Prince Harry.

I was so tired from her stalking me and calling at odd hours in the night and morning....

I’ll rest easier knowing she is on your little Island Nation but sadly, I won’t be visiting ever again, as I usually stay at The Rueben’s across the street from Buckingham and I just cannot risk running into her again.

Exciting times for sure but, no more drama.....

For cryin’ out loud she is marring into the royal family and they cannot find a way to get the dog there? Yeah riiiiight!

Queen probably put her foot down on it not being a royal doggie? Her dogs have a breed of animal only for the hide. Royal dogs have boots on with that skin because the gravel at the royal palace hurts the royal dogs paws.

"A divorced 36 y/o half Black American."

Of course, the number one reason.

Number 2: At 36 she's too old.
He needs to marry somebody in their mid to late twenties.

Number 3: I believe she's a divorcee. The royal establishment
there doesn't like that for their younger heirs.

Number 4: Any children will never be accepted into the line of succession.

The Queen probably hasn't said anything yet - buts it's coming.
Harry will probably be allowed to marry her
but only if he accepts some certain "understandings."

What the heck. Apparently, Liz doesn’t approve so hasn’t sent her private plane for the dog.

Or Meghan doesn’t care about her dog. Nope, sorry, You taken in an animal and it’s your responsibility to take care of it. No ifs ands or buts. Again, proving Harry is slumming it with this gal.
