Meghan Markle has finally found her Prince Charming - but it has come at a huge cost, with the American actress forced to give up on many of her passions.

Prince Harry's fiancee had to make the heartbreaking decision to leave behind her beagle Bogart after moving to the UK to start her new life, as the pet is thought to be too old to fly overseas.

The 36-year-old has also given up on her career as an actress so she can take up full royal commitments in Britain, bringing an end to her run as Rachel Zane in the hit series Suits, the show which brought her to prominence.

While set in New York, Suits was filmed in Toronto and it is believed Miss Markle was finding it hard to juggle her relationship with Harry and her demanding schedule on the show.

Kensington Palace confirmed that Miss Markle's new role would also force her to give up her charity work with the United Nations, plus her role as patron at organisations including World Vision Canada and One Young World.

These people have access to all the money and help in the world, and they can't find a way to move an old dog to England?

What the hell? Put the damn dog on a boat.

Sheesh. Do I have to think of EVERYthing?

Too bad she’s leaving acting. I liked her in “Suits.”

England needs to get their act together and get rid of their inbred monarchy.

Or if it does it lasts about 3-5 years. She’ll get bored and will begin to miss her career and her own “fame”.

36 years old!!

Her biological clock is at alarm stage!

Is the Royal family on a self destruct plan by not reproducing?

With today’s medical technology women are having kids well into their 40’s with little increased risk of difficulties. This woman has access to unlimited resources. She will have as many kids as she wants.

Bogart doesn’t look very old to me. And he looks healthy. I have a rescue basset who’s deaf, dumb, and blind—about 15 years old—and I wouldn’t hesitate to take him with me if I was going over long-term. He may not see or hear, but he can smell, and he loves to go on long walks. His nose always tells him where he is.

So she leaves her beagle behind? So the poor thing will die of heartbreak of being left behind. Ridiculous!

I was going to give them 2 years.

She seems fairly intelligent, but we’ll see if the divorced, California, yoga SJW actress full of American feminist notions and cliches can adapt to the culture of the Royal family.

It’s my understanding the UK has a very long isolation and observation requirement for pets brought into the country because rabies is absolutely not there so they don’t want it to arrive via immigration. Now as to the Muzzies....come on down!!!!
