Putin Unmasked (Thank Trump!)
The American Thinker ^ | Aug 3, 2017 | Daniel Ashman

Trump is good at "unmasking" frauds. These frauds are commonly known to be the RINO politicians, the far-left Democrats, and the crazed media. Putin can now be included.

This is a guy who pretends to support national sovereignty and conservative values. Yet Trump's very existence has provoked Putin into aggressively interfering in America's most sensitive domestic matters, all while coming in strong on the Democrats' side.

Putin was behind a massive flow of money to Hillary Clinton – so much money, in fact, that he has altered the course of American politics forever. Beyond that, the Kremlin's disinformation is now responsible for a special prosecutor.

For all of Putin's whining about how awful it is that America has a military alliance with Poland, or how America had an ambassador in Ukraine when the Ukrainian people ousted the corrupt clown Yanukovych, none of it compares to what Putin has done to harm Trump. Putin's publicly known interference in American affairs is far worse than even the alleged things America does to Russia.

"Mark Levin opines that "Vladimir Putin, the Russians, did not pick sides in this election. Some have argued that he wanted to help Trump; some have argued he wanted to help Hillary. No, that's not it at all. They just want to disrupt America."

This article only covers the tip of the iceberg. If Vladimir Putin and his country were so secure in Russia's newfound stature in foreign policy-shaping and as the standard bearer for disenchanted conservatives the world over, then their their govt wouldn't feel such a desperate need to disrupt the affairs of Western countries that are supposedly rotting at the seams without their help.

As more of Putin oligarchy's close ties with the D.C. Swamp unravels, Trump will only be vindicated and Russia's own domestic weaknesses and corruption will gradually become the forefront of global discussion as their March 2018 presidential elections loom, their fate in next year's Winter Olympics hangs in the balance due to the (state-run) doping scandals, and as they host the corruption-ridden World Cup next summer as the economic conditions within Russia continue to tank and living standards for avg Russians on the decline.

Pot calling the Kettle black. We do this all over the world. Look at the last Israeli elections where obama had all kinds of $$$ and verbal support for Ben’s opposition.

I am of the belief that Trump will go down in history as a great president, and he has handled Middle Eastern affairs as best as he can given the circumstances. He is no Obama/Clinton/Bush Sr./Jr...and praise be to God he is also no Putin.

Russia is an oil and natural gas company with a military. Trumps pro-US fracking, exploration and traditional drilling is the worst possible thing for Russia.

Especially considering how the Uranium deal under Clinton and clan was awful! SO much damage left to clean up, but Trump has this nation on its way.

Our interference in foreign politics should not be swept under the rug while calling out Russia,
It is much more honorable to admit its SOP and start making guidelines on what is allowed and the penalties for overstepping and then hold to those terms ourselves in foreign countries.
If we intend to keep spying and sending money & aid to support our preferred candidates abroad we should stop acting as though Russia is such a bad actor.

If only we could see with eyes wide open all the wicked influence of foreign powers on the US - Russia, China and the Saudis especially.

One wonders how a kleptocratic state runs this company of energy production as well as it does? I agree with your analogy. A company that has a small number of shareholders who get massive dividends, including the guy at the top.

Russia used Facebook ads in 2016 to both encourage and inflame identity politics in America as part of its cyber-operation against the U.S

Sixteen thousand said that they planned to attend a Trump protest on Nov. 12, 2016, organized by a Russian-linked group

a Russian-linked group that sought to capitalize on racial tensions between black and white Americans

New York City, which took place a few days after the election, appears to be the largest and most successful known effort to date pulled off by Russian-linked groups intent on using social media platforms to influence American politics.

I approved it because it’s in sync with my own experiences of living in Russia and seeing the Putin regime for the fraud that it is.

I do not understand how anyone would conclude that Putin would prefer Trump over Hillary:

Oil is 0ne half of the Russian government’s revenue. Higher levels of production from the US make it more difficult to fund the large Russian government. Just the threatened shut down (Hillary) of our extensive coal industry would have helped Putin and Russia.

In my opinion Hillary had already been bought through the Uranium 1 deal and it would have been easier for him to control her.

Trump’s fighting in the middle east has pushed Russia out of the lead in that area.

There are many more reasons for him to have supported Hillary, but those are the top ones.

A small note: when one of the MSM’s declared that it looked like Hillary would win it on election night, the Russian embassy personnel cheered and the election night party started in earnest. Later it quieted down.

Putin was a Bernie supporter. Bernie would have given US treasures away for free.

Most importantly Trump’s inauguration ceremony alone, attests to the strengths of America’s enduring democratic institutions: the peaceful transfer of power, all these things the Russian state and media has conditioned the people to think are fraudulent shams so as to avoid the greater demands among the Russian people for a democracy of their own.

How do we know that?

According to a thread here on FR within the past 2 weeks, the Russkies spent less than $100K on Facebook and other ads during the 2016 campaign. Chump change, if that’s accurate.
