Last month the Media Equalizer (MEQ) reported on a story regarding the radical and violent Antifa group By Any Means Necessary (BAMN) and a court case the group lost . BAMN’s leader, Yvette Felarca, had a temporary restraining order against Troy Worden, president of the Berkeley College Republicans withdrawn after attorney Mark Meuser of the Dhillon Law Group successfully argued for its removal. The order impeded Worden’s ability to move about the college freely and exercise his First Amendment rights on campus. Yesterday, Worden filed a motion for more than $100,000 in damages against Felarca. Worden also asked the court to penalize Felarca’s attorney, Shanta Driver, who is the National Chair and founder of BAMN. As a lawyer, Driver knew that the restraining order against Worden was frivolous because it was brought for the sole purpose of restricting his rights.
Felarca is out on bail for the second time for charges of assault, resisting arrest, and inciting a riot.
“I am glad that we are no longer playing defense and that we are finally going after BAMN for filing this frivolous action,” Worden said. “Felarca and her attorney attempted to make free speech expensive and it is time that they pay for their misuse of the court system,” said Worden’s attorney at the Dhillon Law Group, Mark Meuser.
“This case represented a massive imbalance in power in that we had a poor college student about to lose his constitutional rights because a massive organization had the resources to try to crush him in court,” said Dhillon Law Group managing partner Harmeet K Dhillon. “The Dhillon Law Group is proud that we could help level the playing field and turn the tables.” The ongoing battle for free speech and Felarca’s attempts at squelching it has drawn national attention. Both Worden and Felarca have been interviewed by Fox News’ Tucker Carlson.

I don’t see how this lady Yvette Felarca is allowed to ‘teach’ any child, not with her tendency to promote violence.
I guess there remains a cluster of loyal socialists embedded in Berkeley.
IOW this is not payment to Worden for his damages.
WE need to sue the people who commit fake hate crimes too - and the Universities and cities that trumpet that hate...
