ELEANOR, WV (WOWK) - One woman found something she didn't expect during her trip to a local store a syringe.
Carrie Lambert says she stopped by Family Dollar in Eleanor this morning to pick up a blanket.
She says when she unfolded the blanket, she saw a syringe in the folds.
Lambert says that, in shock, she quickly returned the blanket to the store.

Hope she didn’t touch the darn thing.
Could have been full of cooties or *something fatal.*
She got a shock but no did not touch it.
HepC can survive in a syringe of blood for around six months.
Maybe if she wasn’t shooting, she wouldn’t have needles everywhere.
Sounds just like the “Rat head chicken McNugget” $tory.
What a load.

where they charged her extra for the needle.
I found one in my driveway last week, an Insulin syringe. No one in our family uses them. It could have been there for thirty years. Still sharp. i took pliers and broke off the needle before throwing it away.
Who buys blankets from the Dollar Store? I didn’t think they even sold blankets there. Probably see-thru and tissue thin. Unfortunately, it’s not that uncommon to see a discarded syringe in public areas.
One should just bring it to the managers’ attention and chose another blanket. Stuff happens in cities of any size.
Not the Apocalypse.
I stayed at The Wynn a few years ago and the next morning I turned my pillow over and there were blood drops on it. I complained. They told me it was nail polish and gave me a free buffet. Haven’t been back m
Now if you find it on the premises I might believe it.
This time of year they have Seasonal Christmas ones. I’ve seen them. You know the ones made in china that last oh..about a year or two after they’ve been through the wash several times.
pub, maybe you don’t know that WV is one of the worst places on earth for drug addiction. This happened near where I live and believe me we are very tuned in to the needle danger that lurks all around us. I found one just around the corner of the building where I live as I walked to my car. It’s everywhere. Our rural county is currently opening a recovery facility with 60 beds. There is no need for phony reporting as you imply. It’s real.
The picture of the blanket and needle is in the link.
