Florida governor: 2,000 leaving Puerto Rico every day
Washington Examiner ^ | 21Nov17 | Paul Bedard

Puerto Ricans have been fleeing the island at a rate of 2,000 a day, a huge hit to the hurricane-ravaged island, according to Florida Gov. Rick Scott.

The impact of the human outflow could be damaging to the island’s manufacturing base, which tops tourism as its income base.

Kiss Florida, Good Bye, in the next election cycle. Those people are never leaving and will breed like rabbits.

Stick a fork in Florida, she's done!!

Maybe, once they take hold and change the voting demographics for good, we can get Florida and California to form a bloc and secede at the same time.

The United States has always had citizens migrating from one area of the country to the other and few of those mass migrations have had significant impacts on election outcomes.

This migration of Puerto Ricans will not be any different and when economic conditions in Puerto Rico improve, some of the people will move back to the island.

But until then, nothing is going to stop Puerto Ricans from moving to the Mainland.

What is with Freepers who want to voluntarily roll over like whipped dogs and let globalists use mass migration to break apart our nation? Mark my words, it states start to secede there will be a lot of blood and death for everybody.

actually this could be a windfall. If the republicans greet them with open arms and help them get started in Florida, they can win them over. Change the landscape. Remember they are fleeing a Democrat territory that has abandoned them

I’m thinking you mean:

The Puerto Ricans, you know in Florida that voted for Trump, have jobs, tend to be on the ‘Right’ side of things, pay taxes, and see the ones coming in at the rate of, 2000 per day, as just wanting free everything and will vote for whoever promises them the most stuff, since most PRs, on the island, stopped working at around 40 years old and went on some type of government assistance, so they’ll want to continue that gravy train.

The commie ‘RATS are tickled to death. Clintoonie is pissed off that this hurricane couldn’t have hit BEFORE the 2016 elections. Now we know why the bimbo mayor of San Juan kept attacking America after the hurricane. More than likely, the DNC was pulling her strings to get more ‘RAT voters into Florida.

There’s a chance, but once the community organizers get their hooks in them, it’s over. You might know of one place, but I can’t think of anyplace where mass immigration has helped the Republican party, in recent history.

The places that these people leave are about as left-leaning as possible and they’ve all run out of money, so they head to the giant ATM machine, known as the USA.

‘What is with Freepers who want to voluntarily roll over like whipped dogs and let globalists use mass migration to break apart our nation?’

This is simply an instance of American citizens moving from one part of the country to another part of the country.

Nothing at all to do with ‘globalists.’

Puerto Ricans moving to Florida is not an example of immigration.

A socialist economy will never be able to keep them in the style to which they’d like to become accustomed.

If they have any brains, they’ll vote for conservatives. A strong, growing economy is the only way to keep the gravy train running.

Puerto Rico got the final blow from the second hurricane, but she had already self-inflicted herself years ago when she joined forces with the Democrat party which stripped this grand island of it treasures and potential to grow and succeed economically and with great quality of life.

Instead they got their promised handouts from the Democrat Devils...but not nearly enough to sustain them over the long run. They became, along with mainland USA African-Americans, the Obama/Clinton/Democrat, controlled slaves on economic plantations that them kept in-line politically. Result...destruction...across the board. The hurricanes served up the final blow.

But, Puerto Rico can become great once again.....she should be the “Golden Gem” of the Caribbean Basin on many fronts..Tourism, Manufacturing and Business. How? Dump all support of the Democrat Party...and become your own motivation to success and greatness. There is no such thing as a free lunch folks. You have been had by the Democrat Party using you for one thing...gaining personal power, but, not yours!!! SAD!!!

Exactly, everyone else was saying good, if not great, things about the response to the storm, except her.

As for the ships not being allowed to dock with “supplies”, that’s a security issue that cannot be waived for any reason.

One of the biggest mistakes people, in this country, make is that they think everyplace else is like the mainland USA. They think everyone lives in homes that are built to some type of construction code, etc. You look at most of the damage in PR, it’s because people were living in sheet metal, homes, held together with duct tape. Same thing for Haiti. Those people, outside the commercial ares live in huts. So of course they’ll be widespread damage.

And it’s not like the immigration flow has stopped. They’ll keep coming and coming. Who know’s, PR might actually become a really nice place to live, down the road. Be like a giant retirement community as they’ll be lots of room to build, since most PRs will take root in Florida. But then, once it gets back on it’s feet and thriving, they’ll want to go back and ruin it, all over again.

Wonder how this will change the voting face of Florida.

I have a friend that lives in Windemere —a golf community outside of Disney. She has a PR doctor and family who lives across the street. Great family, she says. They now have some PR “refugee” relatives living with them and they’ve turned the house into a hovel. The young boys go out and pee on the lawn, the men drink and hoot at the women on the street; the police have a constant presence over there —just a microcosm of what is to come.....

I think I’m tracking with your statement and I’d rather not see the country come apart anymore than you(I think).

But, where is the blood and death going to come from? Do you think there will be some type of armed response/ to secession movements, etc?

If millions of armed citizens havne’t marched on DC, with all the crime and corruption that has been going on for decades, talkig about the federal government, and seems to be heading into the stratosphere, and demanded an end to it, they’ll be no violence anywhere other than BLM/ANTIFA mobs causing chaos. There will be no civil war or anything like that.

The Oath Keepers, 3%ers, etc etc will do nothing and will not be allowed to do anything, unless the military initiates something. And that is simply due to logistics, leadership and communications.

Other than that, things will just play out the way they play out.

Went thru my comments, don’t see where I mentioned immigration. Could have missed something though.

Either way, how ever you want to describe it, they’ll change Florida and not for the better.
