Kiss Florida, Good Bye, in the next election cycle. Those people are never leaving and will breed like rabbits.

Stick a fork in Florida, she's done!!

Maybe, once they take hold and change the voting demographics for good, we can get Florida and California to form a bloc and secede at the same time.

The United States has always had citizens migrating from one area of the country to the other and few of those mass migrations have had significant impacts on election outcomes.

This migration of Puerto Ricans will not be any different and when economic conditions in Puerto Rico improve, some of the people will move back to the island.

But until then, nothing is going to stop Puerto Ricans from moving to the Mainland.

What is with Freepers who want to voluntarily roll over like whipped dogs and let globalists use mass migration to break apart our nation? Mark my words, it states start to secede there will be a lot of blood and death for everybody.

actually this could be a windfall. If the republicans greet them with open arms and help them get started in Florida, they can win them over. Change the landscape. Remember they are fleeing a Democrat territory that has abandoned them

The commie ‘RATS are tickled to death. Clintoonie is pissed off that this hurricane couldn’t have hit BEFORE the 2016 elections. Now we know why the bimbo mayor of San Juan kept attacking America after the hurricane. More than likely, the DNC was pulling her strings to get more ‘RAT voters into Florida.

A socialist economy will never be able to keep them in the style to which they’d like to become accustomed.

If they have any brains, they’ll vote for conservatives. A strong, growing economy is the only way to keep the gravy train running.

Puerto Rico got the final blow from the second hurricane, but she had already self-inflicted herself years ago when she joined forces with the Democrat party which stripped this grand island of it treasures and potential to grow and succeed economically and with great quality of life.

Instead they got their promised handouts from the Democrat Devils...but not nearly enough to sustain them over the long run. They became, along with mainland USA African-Americans, the Obama/Clinton/Democrat, controlled slaves on economic plantations that them kept in-line politically. Result...destruction...across the board. The hurricanes served up the final blow.

But, Puerto Rico can become great once again.....she should be the “Golden Gem” of the Caribbean Basin on many fronts..Tourism, Manufacturing and Business. How? Dump all support of the Democrat Party...and become your own motivation to success and greatness. There is no such thing as a free lunch folks. You have been had by the Democrat Party using you for one thing...gaining personal power, but, not yours!!! SAD!!!

I understand the politics on the island, but I also believe that a rising tide raises all ships. One of the best things that can happen for our culture is a vibrant economy because more people “getting by” will see the opportunity to “get ahead” and join it. There will always be an entrenched impoverished class and the politics that support it are ugly in our nation, but I have hopes for my fellow citizens from PR. Some of the best soldiers I had the honor of serving with were from PR so lets hope that kind of attitude wins out. I know they can do it.

The majority of Puerto Ricans are so liberal, I bet the rats are celebrating, that I agree we have lost Florida! Trump should've never permitted it ever! The influx will outnumber the conservative vote! Consider Florida another California , flipped permanently to blue by immigration! 😡

An example of why democracy is the worst system except for all the others. Some people will repeatedly vote their community toward poverty and destruction, never once considering a change in direction. Then they move elsewhere and do the same like locusts. Puerto Rico and Detroit are two examples.

Why is this a “hit” to the economy of PR?

The phenomenon may be many things but it isn’t any kind of hit to PR. It isn’t any kind of anything to PR.

I can’t blame them for coming here - I would too. Half the island is still without power.

I’m thinking there’s some cheap real estate in Puerto Rico. Think we’ll head down and see what we can find. I’d love to turn it red.
