5 Stone says 70 lbs, which puts it in the mini pig category. While I completely support emotional support animals, they have to be emotionally supportive, not disruptive. Perhaps the poor thing needed a tranquilizer to get on the plane. I would have! And the pig doesn't really sound all that disruptive. It more sounds like a panicked passenger who doesn't like pigs.

Do people bring emotional support mini horses on planes, too? Or emotional support Irish Wolfhounds? Had 2. Best dogs ever, but can't imagine trying to get them into their own seat on a plane. Mine would jump from the backseat when I was driving at 60mph, confident I couldn't do anything about it, then try to sit on the passenger seat but, not fitting, would lay across the shift knob as he got his front into my lap, knocking the car out of gear. Couldn't get him to read "Rules of the Road."

I have an emotional support Orca which I’m taking on a flight to Paris next month. I’m worried that the airline will give me a hard time.

I sometimes have that problem with my emotional support polar bear. He won’t accept peanuts for snacks.

What if a Muslim was on the plane? No good decision to be made there.

The problem gets recursive. I think the pig needed an emotional support animal, too.

I’ve stopped going to restaurants and will restrict grocery shopping to one store. No flights, either.

Let them lose investments, until they yield and stop the unsanitary and unhealthy practice completely—no exceptions!

My Emotional Support T-Rex is VERY well behaved in public.

This is obviously a lack of proper training and discipline on the the part of the owner. ;)

How can I certify that my 8’ Burmese Python is a support animal? Would I need to buy a seat for it? Or can it just say wrapped around my neck or that of my neighbor?

I have an emotional support elephant. I demand the airline not interfere with bringing my needed support animal on a flight with me.
Sorry people are NUTS with all these emotional support animals.
I don’t doubt that people have been through some terrible things and and a animal companion could help. But keep the dog at home.

We really are in Robert Heinlein’s “Crazy Years”. In his “Future History” timeline, this period of unrest is eventually followed by a welcomed military democracy, where only persons who served in the military were allowed to vote. The idea being that only those willing to die for their country should have the power to elect.

The air carrier access act needs to get in line with the ADA and distinguish so called emotional support animals from genuine service animals. Even then they should retain the right to place overall passenger safety first even if it means refusing to board (provided other provisions can be made) a passenger with a service animal.
