In the summer of 2015, Phoebe Barghouty was 23 years old and had a new master’s degree in journalism from Stanford—but little other experience—when she landed what most of her peers would consider a dream job: associate producer at Vice’s Los Angeles bureau.
Though her job hadn’t technically started yet, her boss, then-Editor in Chief Jason Mojica, invited her to join the team at the L.A. Press Club Awards. After accepting an award for public service in journalism, the team from Vice—including Mojica and Kaj Larsen, the bureau chief who had hired Barghouty—celebrated with drinks. By the end of the night, Barghouty says a very drunk Larsen had brought up sex (musing about his chances with a group of “black girls” at the bar), asked her for a ride home, then passed out in her car.

I hate it when that happens................
Because we all know young women NEVER:
1. Get very drunk.
2. Bring up sex.
3. Muse about their chances with that good looking stud at the bar.
4. Ask for a ride home.
5. Pass out in a car.
NEVER. Ever.
Interesting story, but I thought ‘Vice’ meant another expose’ about Joe Biden. Meant to stop him from talking about running in 2020.

And VICE is about as liberal/progressive as you can get on cable/media. It’s waaaaaay to the left.

Sounds like she quickly realized she wasn’t hired for a real job; just an “office toy” for powerful men. I know some who accept this and laugh all the way to the bank; real workers despise them.
Feminists demand that women be sexually liberated and be able to act like men and even brag about being sluts like guys brag about being studs, and then when they are treated like the sluts they aspire to, they bitch and moan.

What bigger warning sign does one need?
I knew a small-business manager who reviewed resumes, rejecting any that mentioned “sexual harassment training” - those who worked there LIKED having an environment steeped in innuendo, entendres, and titilation (and likely more never discussed).
What’s with this next generation thinking they can wallow in bad behavior, yet not suffer any obvious consequences? Like they can poke their toes over the edge of a cliff, yet are surprised when the dirt crumbles and they plunge to great harm. Snowflakes melt in hot kitchens - much to their surprise?
