They moved their quality control to Mexico, too.

I used to eat a large (4+ ounces) Chocolate Almond bar every day - for decades.

Then Hershey started messing with the ingredients. The original big bar had a very dark chocolate with great taste and a crisp texture. They replaced that with a cheaper and softer brown chocolate that is clearly inferior.

Then they started reducing the number almonds in each bar, and reducing, and reducing. The new bars have like 60%-70% fewer almonds.

Then they started raising the price, and raising, and raising.

I stopped buying them about a year ago.

I was not aware of that until one of their chocolates made me sick.

No idea what “changed” in Mexico but I cannot stomach their products now...literally.
