“PRETZEL CANDY!!!! And NO CHOCOLATE!!!!”
Sounds pretty close to a Payday to me - which I like.
Trump MAGA bars: Made with sweet milk chocolate, caramel, & cashews, and blended with SJW snowflake tears.
“My wife and I were chatting recently and this topic came up: When was the last time either of use remembered a new candy bar being released. I had no idea and wifey didnt either. Glad to something exciting happening in candyland.”
Everyone likes the old standards; Reese’s, Snickers, Milky Way, Butterfingers.
Im not a huge fan of candy (made it through Halloween with not a bite of candy), but crave good chocolate once in awhile. We have a DG in our little town so I will look for that the next time I feel like chocolate.
Thanks for sharing!
I make, what I call, birds’ nests. I put the chow mein noodles in the melted chocolate and scoop them out and let them cool. They are wonderful and so easy to make! Sometimes I put mini marshmallows in them too.
Shop at DG & never knew this. Will definitely check them out.
Hersheys candies are the equivalent of McDonalds is to burgers.
I wish they would bring back marathon bars
Hershey chocolate is too sweet.
Lindt is far better.
Re: “They moved their plant to Mexico.”
They moved their quality control to Mexico, too.
I used to eat a large (4+ ounces) Chocolate Almond bar every day - for decades.
Then Hershey started messing with the ingredients. The original big bar had a very dark chocolate with great taste and a crisp texture. They replaced that with a cheaper and softer brown chocolate that is clearly inferior.
Then they started reducing the number almonds in each bar, and reducing, and reducing. The new bars have like 60%-70% fewer almonds.
Then they started raising the price, and raising, and raising.
I stopped buying them about a year ago.
I’ve never been a fan of Hershey’s chocolate - it’s chalky and bitter. There are so many better American and European chocolates around. I won’t be trying this new thing from Hershey’s either.
I was not aware of that until one of their chocolates made me sick.
No idea what “changed” in Mexico but I cannot stomach their products now...literally.
