ESPN gibberish.
I was here on FR for more than a decade years ago. Is there a Pittsburgh ping list these days for 'yinzer' topics?
Here is wishing you well.
Thank You for posting this.
I have been a Patriots fan for many years and was for years a season ticket holder.
I no longer watch the NFL because of this insanity that the owners are allowing. Funny, I do not really miss it as I thought that I might.
I have not clicked onto any ESPN link in years and I never shall knowingly do so. Let you get it. Reading this article was I suppose an example of some weaning process but I never would have read it unless posted here. I wonder if you knew that somehow about many of us.
Anyhow, regards.
I’m a Cowboys fan. I just thought it was interesting....................
Well, the refs usually throw a flag if you even breathe in the direction of a QB on a pickoff. They might as well put a dress on them!
“throw a flag if you even breathe in the direction of a QB”
Protective rules after after too many bell ringers that cause loss of vitals in the 4th quarter of their lives.
I remember years ago in an American League game a guy literally picked up George Blanda and threw him on the ground and knocked George cold. No flag.
Remember When: QB George Blanda played until he was 48

Don’t know if George had it all there when he died at the ripe age of 83?
According to the Pro Football Hall of Fame, Blanda died after a “short illness” on September 27, 2010. He was 83 years old. Google search says.
Other positions suffer the same problems without the enhanced protection given to QBs. Linemen get their heads beat in on every play, but no one is making ANY of them play.
