Has anyone compared the payroll between the Dodgers and the Astros? Hint: Dodgers have the largest payroll in the league and not by a little..........by a lot. Houston is way down. Just saying. For all that money, anything less than a title for the Dodgers would be a real bummer for the team and city.

The Dodgers do have the largest payroll in baseball but interesting that they have been carried largely by lower paid players in the playoffs: Chris Taylor, Cody Bellinger, Joc Pederson, Austin Barnes, Charlie Culberson, Kike Hernandez.

True, but most of that salary is for guys who aren't even on the roster. Adrian Gonzales, Scott Kazmir, Carl Crawford, Matt Kemp are no longer with the team but their salaries count.

Seager, was Rookie of the Year last year, Bellinger likely ROY this year, Chris Young started in AA this year, Culberson called up from minors this year, Austin Barnes is another youngster.
