" When a man sees a naked or partially dressed woman, a chemical reaction happens in his brain,” he continued. “Neurotransmitters like dopamine and serotonin are released, giving him an involuntary surge of pleasure.

Ahaa, no amount of dopamine or serotonin could give me a surge of pleasure seeing a naked or partially dressed Hillary, Rosie O'Donnell, Babs Streisand, Peelosi, Madcow, or Moochell Sasquatch!!!!!

My Neurotransmitters would be effected like a Nuclear electromagnetic pulse on the electric grid by that raw sewage!!!!

I’ll make the sacrifice and take one for the team. Young ladies, you’re welcome to assault me with your provocative clothes! It’ll be tough, but I can take it.

This is the same argument muslims make to justify their perversions. It’s BS. I suppose this pastor would have women wear burkhas, as by this thinking, any display of skin by a women is a license for men to rape. It is a poor excuse that leads men to believe they are not responsible for their behavior. Bad behavior should be punished, not excused or explained away.

Being covered from head to toe is no guarantee of a rape free life, as witnessed by the many rapes in countries where women dress modestly. Truth is, as long as there are humans, there will be evil humans. The solution is to punish perps harshly & remove them from society permanently, not expect society to bow to the evil around them.

What about children? There are pedophiles out there. Should children, even small babies, be clothed from head to toe? Are they somehow sexual objects in their diapers or minimally clothed as they often are? If their behavior is somehow sexually stimulating to perverts, how is that their fault?

Personally, I like to see a pretty woman in a sun dress or bikini, just as I enjoy all beautiful things. The fact that I don’t rush to rape them is a factor of how I was raised to respect others, women included.

I’m not suggesting people should be free to walk around naked. It’s not very sanitary & leaves one open to injury; the “cave men” figured that out long ago. But giving in to perverts & extreme moralists is to succumb to a form of blackmail - do as I say or you deserve the consequences.

The vast majority of men are influenced by a woman showing all her wares.

Not that they act on it, but they notice, and may get aroused.

Women throughout history used to be modest in all civilized societies. Modern “culture” is degrading and depraved in many ways. I guess you think that’s fine.

In olden days, a glimpse of stocking Was looked on as something shocking. But now, God knows, Anything goes.

Women have always presented a challenge for men. In today's world, with little left to the imagination and loose morality, it's a much larger challenge. The pastor and the person he interviewed answered their dilemma at the end of the article: men are responsible for controlling themselves. Raise up young men to respect women and themselves, and that stands a good chance of being extended even to women who might not respect themselves. Raise up young women to respect themselves and men, and then you would really have something.

Just speaking from my experience as an old-fashioned Christian gentleman, anachronism and relic that I am.

If you can’t see the differences between a woman dressing in such tight and skimpy clothing that there is literally nothing not seen, and a burka, and modest yet feminine and attracting clothing, you need some remedial moral compass adjusting. Or maybe you’re blind and reading and typing braille!

I guess you have a problem with it.

I don’t

Any woman can dress or undress anyway they wish, I’ll be the first condemn, if not physically deal with any man who mistreats her, suggests she be mistreated or makes anything resembling an excuse, explanation or justification for any man who does. Period, no if’s ands or butts.

EVERY human is completely responsible for their actions, words and failure to control their desires; if they aren’t -and are not children - they should be eliminated or so severely punished that they wished they were.

I am not talking about men acting on their impulses.

BTW I am a female and I know that women often flaunt their goods on purpose to screw around with men, use them, etc.

And yes, human beings are responsible for their actions. And women who dress provocatively are responsible for choosing to dress like that.

I think so many women and young girls dress slutty these days....I detest it...

however, think of all the images that society has made into sexual suggestion...

a blooming flower...

a woman riding a horse...

a jar of petroleum jelly..

a beaver...

my point is, our society is aggressively making everything sexual...and a guy does not need to see a woman with a short dress on to get turned on, all he has to do is think or dream of it, and he's turned on...

maybe someone should try to teach young men about discipline, avoidance, and thinking pure thoughts only, like the nuns used to teach..

lechery CAN be controlled....

Much of that can be attributed to loss of religious faith combined with a collapse of monogamous marriage and the resulting illegitimacy. These things tend to strip away at the advantages of civility, and cause tremendous loss and hardship.

No other person has responsibility for my actions, with the obvious exceptions of if I need to defend myself. How they dress, what they say or anything else they do , unless it threatens my life, liberty or property is none of my damned business and if I make it so, then I’m the bad actor. I extend that to all other humans. Doesn’t matter to me if she dresses like the skankiest slut or wears a burqa, I and I alone am responsible for my actions, words, and attitudes.

OBVIOUSLY it’s prudent to take into account that there are animals that happen to appear to be humans, so a prudent and intelligent woman might not dress a certain way in certain places unless she has means of defense; but the actual solution is to simply cull from the human race, with extreme prejudice, those who can’t control themselves and/or make justifications for those who can’t.
