I didn’t study this in university, just self study from books by Asian culture and history experts.

Russia, as well, is half-Asian and half-European, which is a schizophrenic situation. As has be noted by Europeans, that when a Russian is acting like an Asian, he can be truthful, and you can understand him; but when he acts like a European, he is lying and treacherous.

A great example of this is the different interpretation of humanitarianism in Russia. In Afghanistan, the Russians used the American technique of putting the insurgent support system of women and children in camps, to prevent them from supporting their men.

But even Afghan women and children can be pestiferous, and took far more guards than the Russians had available for them. So they decided to dig a slit trench, like it with plastic, fill with water with a little blister agent chemical weapon, and walk the detainees the length. This would cause the skin of their feet and ankles to blister off, so they would have to move around on their hands and knees. Thus keeping them out of trouble.

The Russians even bragged that this was the humanitarian thing to do, as otherwise they would have no choice but to kill them. As you might imagine, the western world did not approve.

But it was a very Asian solution. Not a fascist one.
