While a criminal case against any government official is probably not possible, there may be a valid civil case for anyone who suffered monetary loss. Insurance companies and their legions of lawyers could get involved as they will be on the hook for millions.

There are so many codes being violated in Sonoma county due to the butt kissing of illegals, it is sickening. Years ago I almost hit another car having to veer around Mexicans standing in the street trying to flag down cars trying to get work. I went to the sheriff sub station to complain and file a complaint about these idiots blocking traffic. The Sheriff gives me this blank look and says " These people aren't bothering anybody, just leave them alone." I said "you've got to be kidding me." Twenty people running out into the street knocking on car windows is not bothering anyone? Now, today the illegals are treated sacred cows.
