The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) issued a response to Jerry Jones on Tuesday after the Cowboys owner said he'd sit players who don't stand for the national anthem.

"This is not an issue about our flag, this is an issue about police brutality, racism, and the ability of members of the NFL whose communities are disproportionately impacted by police misconduct to peacefully say enough," said NAACP interim President and CEO Derrick Johnson. "This is not simply a Black issue due to the number of white people also killed by police, but we know historically that when justice occurs for African Americans, all other members of our society benefit as well."

BS!

They’re employees and the company has the right to dictate policy and decorum of its employees when DOING THEIR JOB.

If the players want to protest on their own time - I have NO problem with thadS

God,that's funny. The only way that their Constitutional rights would be violated is if they were arrested or suffered some other form of sanction by a government agent or agency.

If the owners,or the league,take action it's a labor issue...a contract issue.

Uh, employees/employer. Guess the naacp has some comprehension issues? What work place allows an employee to embarass the "company" in public without some consequence? A failing company. 👹🍿🍻🚬💸

Nobody has a Constitutional right to express their political views during their work activity, while on the clock so to speak.

Their constitutional rights? The hypocrisy of that black hate group! Or should I say that colored hate group?

They piss all over our nation - the flag, the president, the military... and our constitution. So now they want all the protection our flag, president and military affords to them? Damn those NFL colored/black players who disrespect our nation! Fire them all.

We have seen the lack of consistency and Logic on the left 4 years. We have seen that attacking the left contain so much low-hanging fruit. But the media and even our Republicans never seem to go after them in a way that resonates with us. But it really is as easy as stealing candy from a baby. Trump is pointing out their hypocrisy and inconsistencies and it is really fun to watch them self destruct

Now, now. Don’t deny them their right to be stupid. After all, they were out sick the day their civics class studied the Constitution. Or maybe they heard constitution and were taking a knee in the restroom.

Blacks seek a revolution in America. They will not be satisfied until they have a major confrontation which they will lose. Racism pro or con, cannot win against police, State Police, federal officers, even armed citizens and lastly the Army to keep the Republic on an even keel.

Now the “Obamas shorts” was a bridge too far. And a definite appetite suppressor.
