So my daughter came home from college a few weeks back saying they're teaching "White privilege, social justice, inequality and income inequality" at her college....a Christian college. There's a white privilege survey that she did, discussions on inequality, unfair advantages, etc--- I was appalled as was my daughter. However, she stood up in class calling out these lies and the teacher let her speak at the end to make her point but ran out of time. The "professor" said she could continue the next day---which she did, but there was a student that was brought into that particular class that's never been there before and they ganged up on her----the teacher did nothing. I honestly feel she set this up--- but that's a side item.
Fast forward to today and I spoke to the Dean of the school We had a 40 minute discussion and I kept pushing this is cultural Marxism ---after mentioning this a few times she really started getting short with me---I kept praying to myself for direction and wisdom. However, the discussion continued on and She actually got to the point where she almost had me convinced I was wrong and over reacting---then the truth was revealed. We were talking about "social justice" and she asked if I believed it in the Church---I said "sure, we are told to help the poor and love one another and we should be teaching this is what the Church should be doing---but not through government". She said that I was making it political... then I retorted "does the Bible say to give to the poor through the government or through God"? She said there's social aspects of giving through government--- I then asked "are you saying there's a time and place for socialism"? It got stone cold quiet! After 5 seconds or so of awkward silence she answered "I'm saying that God can work giving money through government..."
At that point, I simply said "Okay, I think I've heard enough and I'll get back to you".
I was absolutely appalled. Cultural Marxists running every aspect of our society and more concerning, Christian institutions. At least be honest up front and tell me the truth you're a socialist as we could have save 40 minutes of beating around the bush. The moral of this---make sure your kids are prepared and armed with the Truth and read carefully into everything they are being taught.
I hope this isn’t Liberty University. My niece goes there.
Our privilege is to walk with God from now into eternity.
Can you consider removing her from that situation?
Ask her if there’s food inequality in the socialist paradise of Venezuela.
Or even food.
And she’s still there because?
What school?
Social justice should never be taught through the church. The Gospel is about the Nazarene His life His suffering and His resurrection
what’s the name of the school? Just ask for a tuition refund.
Liberal Christians want the money to flow through the government because the government has the guns and power to confiscate the money.
IOW the ends justifies the means.
You’ll notice that Jesus told the rich young ruler to give his money to the poor. Jesus didn’t take it from him and give it to the poor.
Thanks for the warning or perhaps confirmation on what is going on in our Christian, or “seemingly/former Christian” colleges.
Leftist parasites have thrived and grown fat in academia- partially because it lacks any hard metrics of success, but mostly because of massive student debt and government spending supporting the educate-industrial complex

She goes to Cairn university (Formerly Philadelphia Biblical University)-—She is there because I’m sick and tired of running away from Churches and schools being co-opted. It’s time to fight back because they already have the money for this semester.

My nieces went to a “Christian” University.
Both were fairly conservative.
One is now a wacko lib who wants to give everything away as reparations (other people’s $$$ of course)
The other trusts me enough to know she was only told 1/10 the truth.
Still she came out a Bernie supporter.
Back 20 years ago, the roadmap was set to use the University system to change America.
It has happened...
Christian schools are run by humans.
My Son went to a Christian grade school.
The school participated in the Science Fair program.
The winner went on to the city competition and so forth.
He did his project in the sixth grade and I went to the school to see it.
I was amazed at some of the projects.
I knew these kids and most of them had a hard time telling their left foot from their right foot, but here they were designing nuclear power plants.
Their parents were doing the project.
I thought maybe it was just this year.
My Son did his seventh grade project and I went to the Science Fair.
Same thing.
Kids that couldn’t make change were designing Faster Than Light engines.
Their parents were doing them.
So around comes the Science Fair when my Son is an eighth grader.
I didn’t do his project, but I asked him lots of questions.
“Is this the clearest way to present your data?”
“What is your Null Hypothesis?”
He did a great job.
I went to the school Science Fair.
His project was by far the best.
The school’s answer?
“No winner this year.”
Christian schools are run by humans.
Christian colleges are no more immune from mindrotted Leftist professors and ideology than any other college. And “historically Christian” colleges are exactly that: historically Christian but Godless now.
And, let’s not kid ourselves, most of the kids at Christian colleges are still boozing it up on the weekends and screwing whatever they can. They just might have to take a couple religion classes, and that make it’s a “Christian” college.
There are only a handful of actually CONSERVATIVE colleges in the country. Everything else is exactly what you can expect from academia.
The real dichotomy in society is not based on skin color, or racial privilege. It's based on the ability of those with power and position to promote power and position amongst their own - and to suppress those who are on the outside.
For most of us, the ability to forge a better life for ourselves and our family is based upon the opportunity and ability to climb the American ‘ladder’ through hard work, ambition, and self-discipline. This is the path to a better life that the left and the elites don't want you to have. This is why the middle class has been struggling. The ‘elite’ left (i.e. - those who have theirs and don't want you to compete with them) promote a society in which there are the ‘superior’ (amongst whom they count themselves) and the rest of us - all equal beneath them.
I would tell the college that you teach your children not to harbor prejudices, and to live as loving human beings. As such, you feel that the college is teaching racism.
Her lame excuse is “How are kids going to be prepared for problems in the real world like racism, inequality, injustices, etc-—that’s why we teach sociology”-—My answer was-—then why aren’t you teaching them these are lies and Jesus is the truth?
She said we let them figue that out-—
Okay, lets teach them how to become satanists and how the world glorifies him then let them figure it out later on their own!!
