Visited the channel store today and subscribed to the new ROKU CHANNEL.
A number of movies, some worth watching: ROBO COP, DEATH AT A FUNERAL, others as well (The Fan, ALI, etc)
It is my understanding these will be revised links on a continued schedule.
Interesting, as just yesterday attempted to subscribe by computer and was told not yet available for you.
Today, added the channel via our ROKU devise.
We've a streaming stick and live in the DFW area. You might try to do the same in your neck of the woods.
Unfamiliar with Spectrum. What do you like about it?
Before I pull the DirecTV plug can someone tell me how to get Home and Garden TV so my wife doesn’t collect on my insurance?
You can get this on ROKU, however you will need to be a cable subscriber to do so

Page down until you see HGTV and take it from there.
Not meaning to hijack a Roku thread, but we saw a very odd documentary / conspiracy theory movie tonight on Netflix — “Unacknowledged”. Would love to hear any feedback from others who might have seen it.
Also would be interested to know opinions on whether Netflix or Roku is better than the other, or if they’re so different there’s no way to compare.
thanks
No Netflix here - it would be challenging to compare with something not known. Roku is to purchase a unit (several different units offered from “streaming stick’ to the Super Deluxe model). These can be seen on their site.
Once a unit is purchased there is no monthly fee UNLESS you subscribe to a premium channel which charges these fees. For some networks (ie HGTV, HBO, SHOWTIME) you will need to be a cable subscriber in order to view them.
Below is a guide from the channel store, giving you a clue as to what might be available. Some channels are not so good. Some are very special - the best X-TV was recently axed and many are grieving. Movie channels - some show old movies which are so old they are now in Public Domain. Some channels show relatively new movies: Death at a Funeral, ALI, Moonstruck (a small sampling)
If you’ve further questions, there are a number of ROKU/NETFLIX users here who would be happy to answer, I’m certain.

NOTE: ROKU was exceptional this election cycle. We were able to sit in our easy chairs, turn our unit to You Tube and watch Right Side Broadcasting as they followed DJT around the country speaking at his rally events.
This alone made the small investment most worthwhile. :)

Thank you!
Haven’t used it much yet. I’m still in the evaluation phase. It’s monthly with no contract so I can cancel at any time. The thing I do like is that it has local channels as well as on demand.
P.S. Plus we already have Amazon Prime and get it on the Roku, also.
Sign up for Spectrum streaming for $20 a month (if available in your area) with no contract and they will give you a Roku Express free to keep even if you cancel the subscription.

thanx
P.S. Spectrum’s website sucks. You have to keep entering in your address on practically every page and I never could get it to tell me what channels were available on which package. I would just call and ask.
I've saved over $5k over the past 5 years easily after having dumped DirecTV.
Love my Roku device, watching a movie on it as I post this to FR.
I have amazon prime and netflix. If I add anything it will likely be hulu. Currently have chrome cast attached to my TV
Thanks!
