the doll made into a wasps? nest is just wrong on a dozen different levels. LOL

With regards to the dark side of Mother Nature I’m thinking “zombies”. Like the wasp that can sting a spider, then the spider spins a nest built to the wasp’s specifications!
Or - even rabies, that when it is in our bodies it knows that water is it’s enemy, and turns the human’s brain into being afraid of water.
All sorts of other examples of this kind of “mind control” in nature.
I like to bring this up when talking about the “Walking Dead” zombie show with my kids. Well - something like this COULD happen, maybe.....

It is amazing to me that stuff like that DOES happen in the natural world. I’m guessing if some worm was going to turn our brains to mush but keep the life-support system going for just a little while it would have happened by now. (Insert Bob Hope zombie/democrat joke here.)

I'm sorry to hear that - that is such a terrible disease - I imagine it is far worse for their loved ones than the one in full on-set. Although I have seen the frustrations of those recognizing that they have it - and getting worse. My apologies for my silly(?) conjectures on what so many people have to deal with every day.

No need to apologize, my mom watched her sister suffer the disease. She was diagnosed with non-pigmented melanoma in 2001, the worst cancer you can develop, it can attack every organ including the heart. The only treatment for it interferon, she took part of one course of treatment, but had an allergic reaction and suffered severe dehydration for a month. The doctors believe that the dehydration triggered the onset of Alzheimer's. The bright side IT CURED THE CANCER She survived Cancer by 16 years welcoming 5 great-grandchildren into this world. It was her time.

No worries - it has happened to me once in awhile too.
You must be a half-full type of person. “Yeah she got Alzheimer’s, but the Cancer is gone!” Both horrible, but I guess if it bought her another 16 years. Hmm. I guess if the doctors told me they could cure my cancer and I wouldn't die within a year, but that someday down the road I would get Alzheimer's, I guess I would take the cure.

it was an unknown allergy, the doctors had never had a case of a patient allergic to Interferon.
To say it surprised them would be a understatement.
Most days I just chalk my mom’s longevity to the fact that
she overflowed with piss and vinegar, tough as nails she was.
If you did something she didn’t like that affected her, you were in big trouble.
Thank God above, that I was the baby of the family:
I HAD SPECIAL PRIVILEGES :^)
