Doesn't matter to me, personally, love'em anyway but, it'd be a nice honor (albeit years late) for the guys.

And when you look at the NON Rock and Rollers who ARE in the Hall of Fame....
It’s about time.
To: pa_dweller
The Rock and Roll HOF has been rewriting the History of Rock and Roll since its first few years. Been there lately? They mothballed the old film about the historical foundations of Rock and replaced it with high tech interpretations of Rock music.
People have been literally screaming at the Rock Hall for not ever before even nominating the Moody Blues. I'm wondering if some of the new stuff at the Hall has left even more fans of real Rock and Roll befuddled, enough so to pander to us.
This year both the MB and Bon Jovi are nominated. The real test is if they'll get in.

The Moody Blues have said they didn’t think they would ever be nominated into RRHOF. Sounded like the nomination process was political.

Good to know. They are most deserving of it.
I especially liked the material they put out in the 1980’s.
To: grania
They will allow in a bunch of no name blues artists with no hits but keep out mega-groups.

I know they’re out there somewhere...just some singers in a rock and roll band playing seesaw on a Tuesday afternoon.

How the heck are they not in already?
Just get a look at some of those that have been inducted in the last ten years even - "Grandmaster Flash and The Furious Five" - are you kidding me?.
OK, so maybe the Moody Blues can be a little depressing to listen to....

seriously...huge Moody Blues fan- have seen them two dozen times since 1978...its sickening to see some of the band inducted into the “Rock & Roll” HOF while groups like the Moodies have been left out...
