Before her latest job, she was an author, a businesswoman, and a model. And many believe she was the clincher in Donald Trump’s 2016 U.S. election victory.
Ivanka Trump is not just the first daughter but also the Assistant to the President — an official role created especially for her. She’s in Trump’s trusted inner circle and there’s never been a first daughter like her.
Here are 30 things you might not know about her:
1. Her full and real name is Ivana Marie Trump, like her mother's. She tweeted the explanation: “My actual name is Ivana. In Czech, Ivanka is the baby name for Ivana, like Bobby is to Robert.”
2. She was born in Manhattan on October 30, 1981.
3. She attended Chapin School in Manhattan, an exclusive all-girls day school — of which Jackie Kennedy was an alumna.
4. She attended high school at Choate Rosemary Hall, a boarding school in Wallingford, Connecticut. John F. Kennedy also went there.
5. She attended Georgetown University before transferring to the University of Pennsylvania, where she graduated with a B.S. in economics.
6. When she was 15, she hosted the Miss Teen USA Pageant, a pageant owned by her father.
7. She has modelled in fashion magazines and as a runway model. She appeared on the cover of Seventeen magazine, in ad campaigns for Tommy Hilfiger and Sassoon Jeans, and walked the runway for Versace, Marc Bouwer, and Thierry Mugler.

10. When she was 8-years-old she danced in The Nutcracker at Lincoln Center.

19. Besides working for the Trump organization, she also has a namesake luxury brand. The merchandise includes, apparel, accessories, and footwear. Her fine jewelry line was discontinued in early 2017.
20. In June 2016, Italian footwear company Aquazzura sued her IT Collection for allegedly copying a pair of its shoes.
21. She had a stalker by the name of Justin Massler, who she took a restraining order out against in 2011. He was charged in 2012 with aggravated harassment of Trump and sentenced to to six months jail time, and five years of probation, during which he had to continue psychiatric treatment and medication. In November 2016, Secret Service caught him again outside Trump Tower.
22. She met her husband Jared Kushner in 2007 at a business lunch set up by a commercial real estate broker who thought they could do deals together. “They very innocently set us up thinking that our only interest in one another would be transactional,” says Ivanka. “Whenever we see them we’re like, ‘The best deal we ever made!”

27. She joined her father's administration as an unpaid employee with the title Assistant to the President.
28. After an online petition, #GrabYourWallet urged people to boycott her line, retailer Nordstrom removed it from their website. Other companies followed suit. While her brand may have taken some hits with major retailers, one item that did very well was her fragrance. In February 2017, her perfume was a bestseller on Amazon.
29. In December 2016, a coffee with Ivanka Trump was offered as a prize on the website of a New York company called Charitybuzz. The money raised would go to a foundation led by her brother Eric to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital of Tennessee. The auction raised ethical concerns and was later removed without explanation.
30. She and her family moved to Washington's Kalorama neighborhood in 2017. Some of her neighbours were not pleased. “No Parking” signs had appeared outside their house and Secret Service SUVs were taking up parking spots elsewhere on the block. Coincidentally, the neighbourhood is home to another presidential family — the Obamas.

In view that her mother was born in Czechoslovakia and speaks Czech, it's not a stretch to believe her explanation. Some names have several seemingly unrelated nicknames, like Peggy, Marge and Greta for Margaret, as just one example.
Voted for Hillary and dumped Jesus Christ.
