The price of gold is nowhere close to that.

It isn’t even 25% of that price.

yup, gold is relatively cheap now. Thanks to manipulation that the Feds turn a blind eye to.

I make decent money trading it with levered stocks. You have to be able to pick your entry and exit points carefully though.

Of course it’s not. It’s called MANIPULATION.

I don’t trade, and I don’t deal in paper contracts. I’m old school (if you don’t hold it you don’t own it) and I’m in it for the very long haul. I couldn’t bear to let go of even one of my 1/10 oz eagles at this point. Besides I think the fractionals will come in very handy if and when the SHTF.

Gosh, it's almost as if gold and silver were merely commodities, and US currency is no more based on gold and silver reserves than it ever has been.

The price of gold Perhaps someone can explain what the clock is trying to tell us. A ratio is expressed by absolute numbers, not dollars, etc.

I don’t advise other people money risks. I don’t want to be responsible for that. OTH what goes up eventually goes down.

I feel the same way about bitcoin as I do gold and silver. I really hope the price drops at least 80%.
Then I'll be able to buy and hold so much more. :^》

If you hover over the stat the explanation given is:
The year over year increase in the U.S M2 money supply. Divided by the yearly world production of gold (in ounces). Sources: USGS, Federal Reserve
