Yup. If you’re not an eyewitness and on scene, STFU. Are there bad shoots? Yes. I don’t think there is ever a “good” shoot. But, circumstances dictate the actions and if you’re not involved, keep quiet. Don’t see a lot of the assclowns making their opinions known volunteering to join the ranks of the folks in blue.

Lot of things could have gone wrong. Officer could have had his weapon stolen and he was shot. Had every right to use deadly force from this video. It sucks taking another mans life whether justified or not but this creep asked for it.

That guy was trying to get the officer’s gun. He was either jacked up on drugs or communism (antifa, etc.).

The situation is that the guy punched a cop, and during the fight he reached for his gun and only got the ammo, if the guy had continued fighting he might have eventually got the gun, and then what?
The only thing I see wrong is after the first shot, there was no need for 5 more. Do they teach cops to empty their clip into someone any time they shoot?

Then shoot.

AuniteFah call police fascists, ergo they advocate punching police officers and there are plenty in the media who support their promotion of “assaulting any fascists”.
The police department and police officers should bring suit against each of these papers. Then through Discovery tried to establish if these editors knew the other taped existed or intentionally edited. This establish that there was no absence of malice. Nake the news source liable for their action
Tactically, whether private self defense of use of lethal force in the line of duty ( they are not the same) logic and reason indicate that one shoots until the threat is stopped.
Once the threat is stopped, then you assess and either stand down, or reapply your force. Of course, stats show that cops use some what more rounds than private citizens to effect the outcome, some claim marksmanship, others claim restraint even more still claim intent for an outcome.
Same thing they did with Rodney King:

maybe and ONE time some people saw the full video, where as soon as he stopped lunging at the cops, the cops stopped beating him.
the entire public was completely deceived.
Rodney King was a violent bum before and a violent bum after for years.
and he died a violent bum, too.
At 45 seconds, the officer manages to draw his gun and back quickly away, out of view.
At 46 seconds the attacker stands up and appears to have had enough.
At 47 seconds the officer fires. I think he should have fired only if the attacker came off the curb.
It appears as if the kid is pulling something out of his pocket. Looks like a hand gun.
