Exactly my thoughts when I saw the facial recognition demonstrated yesterday. The fact that it didn't work properly is even more fuel for them to "perfect" the techology with some kind of "mark" - one that cannot be duplicated, stolen, or hacked.
We Christians know where this is going. Perhaps it will be much sooner than the world realizes.

Apple has been working on viable facial recognition at least since 2007. But only now with the multiple sensors on the “notch” area of the iPhone X did it finally become viable. I expect the final version of this facial recognition system to be part of iOS 11.1, which will come out just before the iPhone X is released at the beginning of November 2017.
