She definitely looks like she has metabolic syndrome. She should try a ketogenic diet. I know it may be a bit difficult for a French woman, they love their baguettes, pastries and floured roux. But healthy vegetables can be prepared with wonderful seasonings, and heavy cream/butter can be used for gravies. I lost 70 lbs very quickly (10 weeks) on a ketogenic diet. But the biggest benefit is that I feel great, my energy level has skyrocketed and my mind is clear.
Right off the top of my head, I’d say she looks more Italian than French.
I have the exact opposite problem...only weigh 90 lbs.
(runs in family)
Wish I could gain.
Believe it or not people can be rude because you are a tiny person. They stare and make rude remarks.
There’s a reason why the VA will pay for a Roux-en-Y: because they have an incredibly good expected value.
At a bariatric center of excellence, mortality rates are sub 1% and morbidity (serious complication rates) are low single digit percentages. Most of the poeple who get an Roux-en-Y have comparable risks EVERY YEAR of death or serious illness from complications of their severe obesity.
Most people lose very large amounts of weight very quickly. The percentage of re-gain is lamentable but is FAR LESS than in any other form of medical diet or through gastric banding. A significant fraction (and a majority in some cohorts of patients) are actually able to transform their eating-and-exercising psychology to (essentially) a naturally skinny person’s, and don’t regain weight ever.
Perhaps most interestingly, and probably very important in the VA’s cost-benefit analysis, is that the restructuring of the GI tract appears to have some permanent co-morbidity benefits independent of the degree of sustained weight loss. T2 diabetes starts to go away before much weight is loss and tends not to come back even if a large loss is regained. The body seems to harvest fat from the throat very quickly and so obstructive sleep apnea also starts to be remedied very quick.

If you fall outside a very narrow window people are quite rude. And the window shifts depending on where you are.
I have long hair and I have gotten a number of rude remarks about it. Used to bother me as a child, especially when people would come up behind me and feel it.
Now I let children touch it but adults need to mind their manners. :)
People act like your appearance has something to do with them. It does not. I find a a "how rude!" or a yawn and "Please let me know when you are finished" tends to work.
You can go cold turkey on sugar, anything containing high fructose corn syrup or other caloric sweeteners, soft drinks, ice cream, cakes and pastries, fast food, cereals, and all junk food, but too many carbohydrates and calories from healthy food will still keep you overweight.
I Googled her pictures. She could easily be that weight. She is very heavy. Then again, so was Winston Churchill, and it didn’t stop him from leading Great Britain most effectively during World War II.
She could try gastric bypass. I got a RNY in 2008 and on the evidence, I am convinced it saved my life.
I think she has pretty eyes. I bet she's quite pretty in the face if she shed some weight. I wish her luck. She might be a very nice woman, and she sounds like she is smart.
Winnie was the man! I’d love to go back in time and be in his presence.
I won’t mention the FReeper’s name as the person has passed on, but there used to be a FReeper that was **extremely nasty** to overweight people.
It shows on my screen. Maybe your device doesn’t like the format.
My device is about to be indicted on charges of obstruction of prudence, justice, fortitude and temperance.
I’d throw mine in the clink if I could.
Thanks, dear. I appreciate your input.
Well, there are plenty still alive here who have plenty of
Insults about people’s looks. I admit
To joining in re Hillary or Maher but some here must have every family member looking like a supermodel the way they critique people’s looks.
