Had a poster in forum trying to say Harvey was somehow magically different and unprecedented.
He wouldn’t listen to history or fact either.
Oh well.
I seem to recall reading that archeaological evidence says the southern coast used to see much worse more often.
The Alarmists try to claim special status for Harvey due to the high volume of precipitation, but that was driven by the fact that it stalled in one area over Texas rather than moving on, and that was not “climate change” but simply the transitory atmospheric front and wind conditions which happened to prevail in those couple of days.
