Priebus said this and Trump still made him his first Chief of Staff. That says a lot about Trump. And in some ways, Priebus is still in charge.

He was talking about celebrities and their groupies, in a crude but accurate manner. He did not say “I” do this behavior, he was talking about the phenomenon in general. But the Mediascum twisted it and tried to win the race for Shrillary that week. It was the infamous “October Surprise” but it failed.

IF this is true......IF....., it is further sign that the Republican Party has not been in touch with their voter base - as opposed to their financial base - for a long time. It is politically telling that President Trump has to make a deal with the “devil he knows” - Democrats - to get anything done in Congress rather than Republicans - the devil he doesn’t fully know yet. McConnell and Ryan need to be removed immediately and replaced by REAL Republicans or the Republican Party will go the way of the hula hoop next year.

And yet Trump made him Chief of Staff after showing judgment that was so incredibly inept? Makes me question Trump’s.

Bill Clinton and Vernon Jordan talked about “pussy” while Golfing, while Bill was President.

Of course old Bill didn’t just “talk” about it, he was a man of action.

Bill Clinton was also a Member of one of Trump’s Golf Clubs after he left Office.

I believe Trump prefaced the statement with “they’ll let you...”. If they let you, it’s not groping.

And yet Jivanka convinced Trump to bring this little weasel, as well as other GOPe and Democrat non-loyalists into his admin.

Jivanka has made Trump’s term more difficult than it needs to be by an order of magnitude. Having to battle the DC swamp, including the GOPe and the Dems, was challenging enough—bringing the swamp inside in place of actual, competent loyalists has made Trump’s task much more arduous.

Thanks.

Yep, he was jokingly talking in private about groupies to another male in show biz.

Taken way out of context.

I think many men have made off color comments, and I think most women know their men have said a few off color things over time. Adults realize this isn’t the whole story.

A guy can make a comment like this, and in the workplace and in their lives treat women very decently. It was bluster talk between men. Who knew? As if women don’t talk about men in crude ways...

The Left thought they had a gotcha moment, and the GOPe thought it was finally vindicated.

Trump triumphed with our support.

Screw them one and all.

You are correct. As was Trump. When you’re a star, women will eagerly debase themselves for your amusement and attention. Then try to blame you later.

Some folks here on FR actually saw a big positive indication of the election campaign in the release of that tape ... not in the contents of the tape itself, but in the timing of its release.

It was clearly supposed to be an "October surprise," to be released as close to the election as possible for maximum effect. The fact that it was released more than a month ahead of Election Day was seen by many as a sign that the Clinton people in the media were desperate to prop up her fading campaign.

There was another article that said Chris Christie wasn’t in the Trump administration because of his response to this tape. I suspected that was a lie.

I've heard that as well, and I always believed it to be true because it came from some people who have known Trump for years and always seem to know a bit more than your average media people.

That IS funny, but I still believe Trump got more votes from Virginians in Virginia. Hillary was helped by her good buddy McAuliffe. Fortunately, the win didn’t come down to VA. They got faked out by their safe “blue line.” Even funnier!!

I've always assumed that Trump named him chief of staff as part of a deal between the Trump campaign and the RNC.

Preibus gets a lot of well-deserved criticism here, but he did a fabulous political job in 2016. I suspect most Freepers in March 2016 never would have believed that in January 2017 Donald Trump would be the president and the GOP would retain control of both houses of Congress.

ROTFL...T-Bone you’re killin’ me!! Rinsed Penis?????...anyhoo, I totally agree with you on this. The fact that that little prick even got close to the White House is beyond me. I not only want the swamp drained I want the White House drained first. I just feel there are too many people in that place that don’t have the Presidents’ best interest at heart. JMHO
