MSNBC host Rachel Maddow had the most-watched show in cable news in August, ending the month with 2.783 million total viewers, according to data released by Nielsen Media Research. It was Maddow's second month in a row as No. 1. Maddow narrowly beat Fox News Channel's Sean Hannity, who had 2.679 million total viewers. The remaining shows in the top five for the month were Fox News' Tucker Carlson (2.483 million), MSNBC's Lawrence O'Donnell (2.352 million) and Fox News' The Five (2.351 million). Maddow was also first among adults 25-54, the critical demographic to advertisers.

I haven’t watched any PMSNBC in many years, but I remember maybe a decade ago (whenever the Olberdork was still on) first seeing Rachel Madcow as some kind of guest talking head, long before she ever had her own show. It was obvious that she was some ultra-left PC dyke and I never imagined she could actually host her own show. Well I guess if Keith Olberdork could have a show then Rachel can have one, too.

How can anyone listen to her strident tone? It is like scratching nails on a black board to me? People are sado-masochists. Also reminds me of the description of the horrendous propaganda voice in 1984

The Murdoch spawn didn’t hurt MSNBCs ratings at all.
I find that I rarely watch FNS anymore, trying to catch Tucker, and trying to like the Greg Gutfeld Show. I really miss RedEye, especially the early years, where PAB did the show openings!

Fox rids itself of BOR, Eric Bolling, the great commentator on its Business Channel, and people like me, are watching reruns of Naked and Afraid or the TCM.
