My Opera browser blocks Free Republic I think. FR pages don't load, but Chrome works fine. Just started this afternoon
Have to go out on business , will check freeper replies later.
MAGA !
I know awhile back when I clicked on FR that my virus alert would tell me that this site is blocked and proceed only at your own risk. Others on here reported the same thing, and Jim Rob said he was aware of it and had started working with the various virus detection people. It cleared up (or my system learned that I did not see it as a threat - not sure which).
I just punched it up in Opera. It came right up. it didn’t recognize me (wanted me to log in), but it showed up with no problem.
One of the Libraries in my region blocks FR...but not DU.
If your wanting to see video from twitter I suggest you download Chrome. Wasn’t a fan of Chrome but young son insisted and I’ve found it really is friendly to posting and viewing twitter news and video.
please, no one say it. any of it. leave it alone, please. just this once. I’m begging . . .
I’m using Opera on my phone and it works great.
Someone here yesterday said to Google Image white couple & then black couple.....unbelievable.
My wife’s Android with the 6.0 operating system has Opera.
I just tested it.
It connected to Free Republic actually a little faster than my Chromebook does, and that is about 6 times as fast as Win 10 on my Toshiba Laptop.
I was able to log into my account with no problem.
It appears do it via Google.
Careful Chrome is very addicting even on a Win 10 laptop.
Chorme on an Acer Chrome book, should be labled as a Scheduled 2 drug.
Hmm now Opera won’t load any page. Got to go out, I will check later, not abiggy there are lots of browsers to choose from Opera!
Are you using a VPN? PrivateInternetAccess VPN has been blocked by FR. That’s one cause.
I noticed that in advertising and government funded books many years ago.
Don’t know what you are talking about but my suggestion to the OP is to figure out if he is logged in or not.
FR bad, DU good!
Opera after about release 12 has had a chrome engine (darn it).
Opera doesn’t have parental controls, so I’m not sure how it might have blocked FR.
Do you have any web site blocker extensions installed ?
Is it possible it’s blocked at a firewall or windows account level ?
If you think Opera take a long time to load you ought to go see one. They go on for, like, hours.....
i use Opera and no problems on my laptop.
You tried JB, you tried
