Like many people, over the past week, I've read a lot of opinion pieces about what happened in Charlottesville last weekend, and about President Trump's reaction to it.
But there's one very important point that I didn't hear any writers making, though several readers alluded to it in online comments sections.
Groups like Antifa, are part of a growing cult, whose central command is college campuses. This cult I'm referring to is Marxist/Atheist inspired White self loathing and repentance, which is born out of the "oppressed vs oppressor " theories of Antonio Gramsci, the father of Cultural Marxism.
There's a reason that this whole concept of White people atoning for the "original sin" of their Whiteness is something that was first promoted on college campuses. This is because Leftist leaders know that a majority of college students at elite universities happen to be White.
Theories about "White guilt" and "White privilege" were tailor made to indoctrinate White students who will go out into the world and rise to influential positions. Over the past decade alone, more and colleges have been pushing freshman orientation that includes talk about White guilt and White privilege.
Left wing professors want White students to feel ashamed of their Whiteness. But once these students are baptized in Marxist/Atheist holy water, they are then "born again" as pure hearted White SJW's, as the holy water immunizes them against the disease of their own Whiteness.
The problem, is that the average person, who's not very interested in politics, sees images of all these White protesters protesting against Neo-Nazis, and a lot of them assume that these protesters show up because they are idealists who want to fight against racism.
The truth is, these Antifa protesters are filled with hate. But exactly who is it that they hate? Yes, they hate Capitalist America, they hate Israel, they hate all Republicans, and plenty of Democrats too. But the real ire of their rage is all the White people who have not yet joined them in atoning for the original sin of their Whiteness. If, as they believe, the White Man is solely responsible for all of the world's ills, then the only solution is to either kill all White people, or have all White people atone for their original sin.
In this regard, groups like Antifa are the inverse image of the Neo-Nazis, as neither group can achieve their goals unless there is uniformity among all White people.
If the dream of the Neo-Nazis is a world where White people are masters of all people of color, then it makes sense that the only possible way for Whites to accomplish such dominance over such a far greater number of people, is if pretty much the entire White population was on board with this whole Master Race thing (the same way that all of Germany was once behind Hitler). So the main source of anger and frustration for this small group of unrepentant racists is not so much that Blacks and other minorities have become so integrated into what was once an exclusively White society. It's that White people are okay with it.
These Neo-Nazi groups know they're fighting a losing, and strictly symbolic battle. They're not so delusional as to think that they're going to get the whole White race to embrace their ideology, let alone 10% of it. Certainly not in an era when the nation of the Third Reich is now allowing Sharia law no go zones in Muslim neighborhoods.
This is not the case with Antifa. White guilt centered political correctness has spread throughout every crevice of society. For them, the dream of turning every last White person into a born again Marxist/Atheist SJW seems at least as within reach as a worldwide Caliphate does to Islamic extremists, who watch European politicians wringing their hands over Islamophobia every time there's another terrorist attack on their own soil against their own countrymen.
The kind of White uniformity that the Neo-Nazis desire is a pipe dream. But the kind of White uniformity that is desired by Antifa, and all those who share their ideology, is fast becoming a realistic goal. Maybe not in the immediate future, but they're certainly making tons of progress.
In theory, both of these visions of White uniformity are equally scary. But in reality, one is much scarier, because of how much traction it has gained.
The bottom line is that we can't have an informed conversation about "both sides" in Charlottesville, without examining and analyzing the phenomenon of White haters who hate other White people every bit as much as Neo-Nazis hate Blacks and other people of color.

That’s what the entire play in Charlottesville was produced to further.
They want to make it impossible to resist their agenda.
No defense of American history, culture or values will be tolerated.
First time I realized ISIS is going to Gernany because they think their people are prone to being taken over.
If they succeed in their efforts to overthrow our Judeo-Christian based constitutional representative form of republican government and free market economy and society, do they really expect that any form of centrally planned godless socialist totalitarian government will improve their lot in life? They remember the hard lessons of the 19th century, but do they completely ignore the hard lessons of the last century when totalitarian governments enslaved and or slaughtered hundreds of millions world-wide? Or even earlier, when all powerful kings and emperors ruled the world and the people were all slaves, serfs or peasants with no rights at all? You can go back to the earliest civilizations and you will never find a better, freer, more equitable way of life for the people than we enjoy right here in America under our constitution and representative form of government, warts and all.

Every one of them expects to be part of a necessarily very tiny ruling class and to be enriched thereby.
I see part of the problem is the required timeframe ‘to get a permit’ for a demonstration or protest. That amount of time is enough for the anti-factions to get organized and appear, violently.
If peaceful groups were allowed to spontaneously assemble, the anti-ones would be nowhere to be found.
Blame for this falls on govt of course.
What the left does is classic manipulation. They point out weaknesses and make the right feel guilty for their perceived weaknesses. They consistently judge people on the right, and make them seem inferior. They constantly marginalize, ridicule, and dismiss their ideas, keeping the right off-balance and making the left appear superior. They deliberately foster the impression that there’s always something wrong with the right. They focus on the negative, and never offer genuine or constructive solutions. They constantly paint themselves as the victims. The left lies, distorts facts, and withholds important information. They inspire fear, and then provide “relief” to their victims. It is all manipulation. They have no interest in getting rid of racism. They have no interest in equality. All they want is power. Power over you and me. They want to tell us what to think and how to think. They want us to be submissive to their demands. So many in the GOP just roll over and give them everything they want. They must not realize that they have been manipulated by the left, but it’s obvious to anyone looking on that’s what’s happened.
Dear Lord, I humbly ask you to help our country. Help our citizenry fight against the lies and deceit of the left.
