Although FB is for the most part a vast wasteland ... I belong to no less than 20 Trump groups.
The members topping easily over a million people, my input garnering over 40K likes and the such.
One must assume the www tech gods are working fervently to prevent a recurrence. Seeing it now in recent headlines about Twitter, Google and Toutube censorship and feed manipulations.
We absolutely need open and unfettered sites to replace them.
They are definitely striving to lock down the “free and open exchange of ideas” on the internet, though I assume we’ll see it mount shortly before the election (when there won’t be time to implement a Plan B).
