An illation is the act of inferring from data or the resulting inference or conclusion drawn.
Illation introduces a conclusion from what has gone before. Illation is an opinion based on observation.
Sometimes the simplest words reveal the deepest truth. We are beset with illations widely perceived to be Fake. But are they really? If the purveyors of Fake News are basing their conclusions/opinions on what they perceive to be reasonable cause, their conclusions are valid, even if they are based on misunderstanding or distortion.
We are faced, not so much with deliberate lies as with viewpoints in fundamental conflict with our own. This is not an intellectual exercise. It is a conflict of world views.
Today’s exercise is to find illations among Democrats that are based on perceptions of reality incompatible with our own.
Everyone has one and they all stink.
ILLATION: That loving feeling you get when you’re afflicted with Munchausen syndrome.
My illation of Illinois is that they are inundated by the illusion that they are somehow going to improve their instability.
HA I believe they just used that same word in the unabomber series on TV tonight- they were drawing a conclusion based on his consistent use of old spelling such as ‘fulness’ instead of ‘fullness’
Today’s democrats-socialists-communist-racist have given us an illnation illuminated only by their bias and propaganda.

I have noticed numerous instances of widely diverse use of our WFTD following posting. A perfect illustration of “illation.”
