It's never really truly deleted. If you ever set up another FB account in the future, you'll notice FB will suggest "people you may know" from your previous account.
I've "permanently" deleted a few of them.
I deleted my account in the past week. There were disclaimers that it actaully take a full 81-days and that you will both see or receive updates or notifications for about 2-weeks; however it takes “forever/81-days” for it fully disappear from the Internet.
Before I deleted the account, a month before, I deleted every posting all the way back to the beginning....................
