The Russian "scandal" has had no effect on President Trump's approval ratings.
The Rasmussen poll, the most accurate since it only interviews likely voters, has Trump at 45% approval, unchanged over the last three months. The last poll was taken July 11th. Other polls are also, essentially, unchanged.
The Dems' obsession with Russia will likely backfire on them. They are making the same mistake Hillary made during her campaign. They have no message!! It's "Russia Russia Russia" 24/7. The scandal is big, inside the Beltway (Dems, the media) but the rest of the country is tired of it and are tuning out and getting bored with it.
There is a similarity between what is happening now and back in 1998 when the GOP talked about "Monica Monica Monica" all the time and, in the mid-term elections, the GOP only gained 4 seats in the House and the Senate remained unchanged. The same thing is happening now to the Dems.
Maybe because the rank and file ‘Rats are smart enough to know that pursuing the story threatens to turn over a lot of rocks under which their own candidates’ actions have, up to now, been buried.
But it is Russia/Russia/Russia, and we need to hide in our closets after burning our MAGA hats!
The Russia Russia Russia story works for us... people outside of DC see it as ‘unfair’...

Is the real source of all the coordinated disinformation (Fake News) just the Democrats? .....What about Senator McCain who has been known to work very closely with the CIA?
Since the WSJ, WaPo, NYT, and CNN have been well known outlets for CIA disinformation operations in the past; (As exposed in the Church Committee Congressional hearings)......are those same operations currently very active through their agents placed in the MSM?
Are elements of the US Government attempting to pull off a soft-coup against the legally elected President of the United States? .......as they did with the murder of JFK?
Is President Trump being visciously attacked via disinformation agents planted in the MSM as part of a contemporary version of Operation Mockingbird?
The conservative electorate has declined to self-immolate this time. The Dems should be worried about 2018.
Nobody in Ohio cares about Russia.
Even Gallup is at 40% Trump approval(today and yesterday), not its usual 37 to 39%.
Plus, Gallup only polls adults, not registered or likely voters.
Guess I'm the only one who cares about that.
If the dirt was on Trump, it would be on every talk show and front page in America. The dirt would lead 24/7 on CNNMSNBC for weeks, and who offered it would be a dead issue.
The “progressive regressives’” major mistake is their lack of understanding of the basic intelligence of “We, the People.”
ZERO water cooler talk about Russia, rcollusion or Russian lawyers where I work.
