Horn did look out on his feet, but Pac couldn't finish the deal.
As I said regarding Right vs Left handers, there is always butting of heads.
I think Horn might have been exhausted by the 10th round and was leaning in unintentionally.
In this case, Pac got the worse of the head butts.
I don't go by punch stats since one can still win rounds with a slight edge, but lose other rounds badly, like the 9th round.
At 147 Pac is fighting natural welterweights, who are stronger.
Horn was probably closer to a middleweight by the time the fight started.
This is why you have rematches.
A rematch will be a bigger fight then the first.
The title he lose is meaningless.
“A rematch will be a bigger fight then the first.”
There has been a question as to honesty and integrity of boxing for many years. In the earlier years, they always seemed to go one way or another with a Captain American type champion or a thug with a reputation for out of the ring behavior you cover up the kids eyes and ears for.
Then later it seemed they were always going after the money. And now, also, with the many divisions and weights, no one can identify with anyone. And all sports seem to be like that. Sad.

Need to get rid of the phony divisions and only have one champion for each.
“one champion for each.”
Too much money, suspense as to who is better, too much media coverage based upon pay for views, (because they can make more that way than just showing it on TV and having the sponsors pay for it), and too many fighters with the desire to make it big and the fights would be tasked three of four monthly and become common place.
Boxing, which is a legitimate sport, has turned completely to the facade of wrestling. Each area of the country has a few different types of champion(s) and has wrestlers come and go all the time. It’s just money. And in one way or another, all sports are turning into power hungry greeds for notoriety and/or money. And having Horn win this fight was good for the market in Australia and can open it up for future fights. This one was free. More will cost the public, a lot.

Agreed.
I actually watched the fight. I rarely watch fights anymore unless its a hockey game. Thought Pac won like most people. But he did not knock him out when he could have and when that happens you put it in the judges hand and then you never know what can happen.
